LIV Golf Team Championship Dallas Betting
The final LIV Golf event of the 2024 season is the LIV Golf Team Championship Dallas taking place from Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22. A total of 13 teams of four players each, will compete for a massive $50 Million dollar prize purse with the winning team taking home $14 million. Teams seeded 1-3 will get a bye, while the teams seeded 4-13 will play in match-play competitions on Friday. Crushers GC, Legion XIII and Ripper GC automatically advance to the semifinals and won’t play on Friday. The higher-seeded teams on Friday will select their opponents and all 40 players on the 10 teams will tee off in a shotgun start. For each head-to-head team matchup, there will be three matches: two singles matches and an alternate-shot match. Each match winner receives one point and the five teams that earn two points make it to Saturday’s semifinals. The semifinals on Saturday are the same format as the quarterfinals. All 32 players will compete in a shotgun start with the same number of matches being played. The four teams that earn two points will compete for the Team Championship on Sunday. The finals on Sunday include all 13 teams and 52 players. The four semifinals winners will compete for first through fourth place, the four semifinals losers will compete for fifth through eighth place and the five teams that lost in the quarterfinals will compete for ninth through 13th place. Crushers GC is the defending champion and they are the co-favorite in LIV golf odds with Legion XIII.

The Maridoe Golf Club course in the Dallas-Fort Worth area was designed by Steve Smyers and opened in 2017. “Our LIV Golf players are looking forward to playing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with its great golf tradition,” said LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman in a press release. The course features undulating greens with shaved-off areas that should make for some interesting approach shots.

Quarterfinals: Friday, September 20
Teams seeded 1-3 will receive a bye
Teams seeded 4-13 will compete in head-to-head match-play competitions
Highest-ranked teams select their opponents
All 40 players amongst those ten teams will compete simultaneously in a shotgun start
For each head-to-head team match-up, three matches will take place: two singles matches and one alternate-shot (foursomes) match
Matches will be played until a winner is determined; there will be no ties. Each match winner receives one point
Teams earning two points will advance to Saturday’s Semifinals
Semifinals: Saturday, September 21
Teams seeded 1-3 will join the winning four teams from Friday for another day of head-to-head team match play
Highest-ranked teams select their opponents
All 32 players amongst those eight teams will compete simultaneously in a shotgun start
Teams compete in the same format as Friday: two singles matches and one alternate-shot (foursomes) match, with each match winner receiving one point
Matches will be played until a winner is determined; there will be no ties
The four teams earning two points will advance to Sunday’s Finals
Finals: Sunday, September 22
All 52 players amongst the 13 teams will compete in a shotgun start with one round of stroke play
All four individual scores count towards the team’s score
The four teams advancing to the finals compete for 1st through 4th place
The four teams eliminated in the semifinals compete for 5th through 8th place
The four teams eliminated in the quarterfinals compete for 9th through 12th place
The lowest team score on Sunday amongst the four teams that advanced to the finals is crowned the 2024 LIV Golf Team Champion
