2016 Grand Prix of Spain Betting OddsMotorCycling Betting Online: If you're looking for the best advice for Moto GP wagering, you've certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook, we’re previewing the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix, which will be held on April 24th, 2016, at Circuito de Jerez in Andalucia, Spain, featuring Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso.

Jorge Lorenzo will look to defend his title and widen his Moto GP lead at the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix. The race will be held on April 24th, 2016, at Circuito de Jerez in Andalucia, Spain. Lorenzo is the reigning Moto GP champion and the best rider on the circuit, so there is no questioning his status as favorite heading to this event in Moto GP wagering.

Jorge Lorenzo scored 330 points to win last year’s championship. He captured the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix for his first victory of the year and then rattled off three more in a row after that. Lorenzo won seven races in 2015, including the season-ending Valencian Community Grand Prix to rally for the title. Lorenzo has three career victories at the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix, beginning with the win in 2010, a second in 2011 in addition to last year’s. Lorenzo is off to a quick start in 2016 with 25 points after the first race, which is five points ahead of second-place Andrea Dovizioso.

The rider who once again figures to challenge Lorenzo the most in 2016 is Valentino Rossi. Rossi sat in first place late into the season in 2015 but wasn’t quite able to hold off the charge from Lorenzo. Rossi is interesting in that he has won the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix six times in his career, but none since 2009. Rossi’s previous titles were secured in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2007. If he can get back to that level of riding, Lorenzo will certainly be challenged. Rossi sits with 13 points early on, but still has plenty of time to make a run.

Dani Pedrosa has a pair of career victories at the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix, and currently sits in fifth place in the standings with 11 points. Marc Marquez was the 2014 champion and is in third place with 16 points. Marquez finished in third place last year but was quite a distance behind the top two and will aim to be more competitive this season.

Andrea Dovizioso is currently in second place and hopes to stay in the hunt after finishing in seventh place last year. While there are some other solid riders, this looks like a duel between Lorenzo and Rossi that could once again shape up. Lorenzo must be considered the favorite based on his recent success both in this race and on the circuit overall in 2015 in Moto GP wagering.
