COVID-19 caused the most difficult offseason in college football history. Especially for programs with new coaches such as the Missouri Tigers. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz did not get a spring practice that was desperately needed in order to implement his new system. On the other hand, the Alabama Crimson Tide have a powerful and established championship program. That being said head coach Nick Saban also needed a spring practice as the program transitions away from the unique offensive system designed for former quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is now a Miami Dolphin.
