Chris Petersen made his name and fame as the head coach of the Boise State Broncos. Starting with a miraculous overtime win in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl over the Oklahoma Sooners did Petersen transform Boise State into a national power. As a matter of fact, in 2010 a missed chip shot field goal is all that kept Petersen’s Broncos out of a potential national championship game. Eventually Petersen moved on to the Washington Huskies. And he transformed that program from mediocre into a College Football Playoff team. All of which makes the Las Vegas Bowl an interesting proposition with the CFB Odds.
