The college football regular season heads into Week 11 this week, with a bunch of notable matchups on the schedule. While bettors are interested in the big games, they are also taking a look at some of the smaller ones in order to find the best wagers. There has been some early movement already as certain lines were out of whack and the money started coming in fast and furiously on one side. Odds Analysis
The Stanford Cardinal will be on the road this week in a matchup against the Colorado Buffaloes. The oddsmakers initially called this game a pick ‘em, but bettors were all over Stanford on that line, as more than 99 percent of the action went for the Cardinal. The oddsmakers have since recalibrated, making Stanford the 3.5-point favorite to try to get some money back on Colorado.
The biggest game of the week features undefeated LSU on the road against undefeated Alabama. The Crimson Tide opened up as 7-point favorites in this game, and most of the time Alabama is the team in which the money comes in heavily. However, LSU got the majority of the early action and thus the line has dropped to Alabama at -5.5. The scoring total has also risen from 63 to 65 points as the betting public believes there will be more points than the oddsmakers originally expected. It is still uncertain if Alabama star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be available for this matchup, but it looks likely, and if any concrete news comes in there it will affect the spread.
There are some interesting numbers coming out of the Clemson-North Carolina State matchup. The Tigers are 9-0 on the season and opened as 32-point favorite. More than 85 percent of the action has come in on Clemson to cover, but even so, the oddsmakers have dropped the spread to 31 points. It is interesting to know what is going on there, but clearly the oddsmakers are fine with the majority of bettors backing the Tigers in this matchup.
Tulsa is just 2-7 on the season and has a tough matchup at home against Central Florida next time out. The Knights were already instituted as 12.5-point favorites when the spread was released but that was not high enough. Money has come in on Central Florida and the line is now all the way up to -16. Tulsa could be hard-pressed to keep this one a ballgame.
The game between Kent State and Toledo may not be on the radar of most college football fans, but sharp bettors are looking everywhere for an edge, and this game could be one. Toledo opened up as four-point favorites and that spread has quickly risen all the way to eight points. Toledo is a perfect 4-0 at home this year and the bettors are on the Rockets to win this game handily.

Stanford has a solid team but the oddsmakers have over-corrected in that matchup. Colorado is at home and now as the 3.5-point underdog any close loss could still result in a cover of the spread. Stanford was the clear and obvious choice when the game opened as a pick ‘em but such heavy movement has changed the outlook. Colorado should be able to keep this close and is the pick to cover the spread as the home underdog in this Pac-12 matchup.
