USC lost to rival UCLA last time out in a game it was favored to win. The Trojans have talented athletes but they have not been able to translate that into production on the field. This would be a defining win and also get USC to bowl eligibility.
However, a loss could mean the end of the road for Helton. The players are aware of what’s going on and should put in a good effort for their embattled coach.
