The Pittsburgh Panthers are getting 3.5 points at home against the Syracuse Orange. Syracuse is also in a letdown spot after blowing what looked like a certain win at Clemson. It will be very hard for the Orange to get up for a game at half empty Heinz Field against a lackluster Pitt team that seems to be underachieving.
The Virginia Tech Hokies are getting 6.5 points at home against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Notre Dame hype machine is in full throttle mode after their 5-0 start and the play of new starting quarterback Ian Book. But Virginia Tech is coming off an impressive win at Duke and will have an overflow crowd for this prime-time ABC game. This is the most dangerous spot for Notre Dame yet.
The UCLA Bruins are getting 20 points at home against the Washington Huskies. Certainly, Washington is better team but this is a big lay on the road for a Huskies team that has covered just two out of five games.
The Air Force Falcons are getting 3.5 points at home against the Navy Midshipmen. Navy’s loss at SMU should alarm everyone to the fact that they are not quite at the same level as their past teams. A service academy dog is a consistently good value, especially at home against their rivals.
