South Carolina’s stock if falling fast as the Gamecocks are 0-3 in SEC play following last week’s 24-10 loss at Missouri. LSU is up to No. 7 in the AP Poll and laying 13-points on the road as the Tigers have established themselves as a SEC West contender on top at 2-0.... 

There have been a number of times in the history of the Red River Rivalry that either the Texas Longhorns or the Oklahoma Sooners have been dominant over the other. However, it's been a good long while since there was legitimately a coach on the hot seat like we have heading into this one on Saturday.... 

Considering the fact that the Tennessee Volunteers already have two losses in the SEC, they have no choice but to pile on against the Georgia Bulldogs if they want to keep any hopes alive of winning the SEC East.... 

Week 5 provided a massive shakeup in the rankings, as there were all sorts of teams which scored massive victories, while Top 10 teams all over America went down, many of which dropped hard. Week 6 might not be quite as exciting in terms of upsets, but there are definitely some great games on the docket.... 

The No. 25 Florida Gators are ranked in the AP poll for the first time since 2013, but unless they upset No. 4 Ole Miss in the swamp on Saturday, their stay won’t last more than a week. Ole Miss is still living off its win over Alabama, and a sluggish performance against Vanderbilt last week has brought out some skeptics.Florida might not be all that glamorous, but they are 2-0 in the SEC East. Could this be a preview of the SEC title game?... 

After opening the season with an upset loss at Northwestern, the Cardinal have won and covered three straight games, moved back into the rankings and look like the team to beat in the Pac-12 North. It’s back to the drawing board for Arizona after a humbling home loss to UCLA. The Wildcats now get the 18th ranked team in the country on the road and could be without two of their top players.... 

Georgia can solidify itself as a serious playoff contender and deliver a knockout blow to Alabama’s CFP hopes with a win between the hedges on Saturday.It’s been so long since Bama was an underdog, many of us weren’t of legal gambling age. It last happened back in 2009 when the Tide was a five-point dog against Florida in the SEC Championship Game. Georgia looks like the real deal winning all four of its games by at least 17 points going 2-2 ATS.... 

Jim Mora Jr. is coaching one of the top teams in America, but he has already noticed some glaring problems for his UCLA Bruins. With as crazy as the Pac-12 has the potential to be this year, it would be irresponsible to think that the Arizona State Sun Devils don't have at least somewhat of a shot at pulling off an upset....

Week 4 in the Big Ten is in the books and let’s say, no harm, no foul. The teams that were suppose to win, did, and the teams that could lose, did. Michigan shut out BYU, Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern and Nebraska all earned victories. Maryland and Purdue weren’t so fortunate as both lost. The overall grade for the conference was a solid B+.... 

No. 21 Mississippi State will shoot for back-to-back road wins over ranked teams, but No. 14 Texas A&M presents a stronger challenge this week than Auburn did a week ago. ... 

The spread has flip flopped as No. 6 Notre Dame is now a 1-point favorite at No. 12 Clemson, but the Tigers are 28-2 straight up in their last 30 home games and Death Valley will be very difficult for the Irish to get out of unscathed.... 

Can Auburn really be this bad? The Tigers’ shaky play has the natives panicking and the San Jose State Spartans ready to pounce for the biggest win in program history. The Spartans watched FCS Jacksonville State come into Jordan-Hare and nearly escape with a win before falling in overtime. The Tigers struggled in their last two games, prompting a quarterback change. Auburn is laying three touchdowns, which is a lot of points against a decent Spartans squad, and is 0-9 ATS in its last nine games.... 

Clemson gets its first test of the season and puts the No. 12 ranking on the line against undefeated and sixth-ranked Notre Dame on Saturday. Despite being ravaged by injuries, the Irish continue to win games, but will face a challenge in Death Valley. Clemson is 41-6 at home in seven seasons under coach Dabo Swinney and have won 11 straight, going 8-3 ATS in that stretch. The Irish are just 2-5 under coach Brian Kelly on the road against ranked teams.... 

The No. 14 Texas AM Aggies kick off a three-game SEC West gauntlet by hosting the No. 21 Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday. The Bulldogs got their season back on track with a crucial road win at Auburn last week and go for their second straight win over the Aggies. Texas AM opened last season with five straight wins before a loss at Mississippi State started a three-game slide that included defeats to their next two opponents.... 

Jim McElwain has already seemed to take the Florida Gators in the right direction his first season on the job in Gainesville. Beating Tennessee last week was nice, but if the orange and blue are going to get back to their championship form, they need to prove they can beat teams like the Ole Miss Rebels.... 

The Wolverines and Terrapins are entering this game heading in very different directions. Michigan is fresh off a blowout win over BYU while Maryland was blown out by West Virginia. The Terps return home while the Wolverines hit the road, that should even things up a bit, but maybe not enough to make much of a difference.... 

There’s much anticipation for the Georgia versus Alabama match-up this Saturday. Alabama has not been a regular season road underdog since 2008, and now they enter catching 2.5 points against the ‘Dawgs.... 

Remember when Bret Bielema opened up his mouth about Ohio State's schedule? At least the Buckeyes are winning games. Ever since Bielema's snide comments, the Razorbacks are 0-3, and all of a sudden, they are very likely not going to make it to a bowl game. It's starting to look highly unlikely that they stand any chance in their first legit road game of the year at the Tennessee Volunteers.... 

Michigan State continues to sit second in the AP Top-25 behind Ohio State. They remain undefeated SU, but have yet to come through the spread with them overinflated due to their ranking and strong play. Bettors siding with Purdue in this one will try to be the latest to take advantage of that trend.... 

Both teams enter play undefeated; only one will remain. Kansas State has had the upper hand against Oklahoma State of late, but the Cowboys have the home field edge.... 

Of all of the 4-0 teams in America, there isn't one getting less respect than the Indiana Hoosiers. That could change in Week 5 if they can pull off the massive upset of the top team in the land, the Ohio State Buckeyes.... 

It's sad to see just how far the Texas Longhorns have fallen the last several seasons.Now, they're the biggest underdogs they have been in a game since 1998 when they go on the road to take on the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 5 of the season.... 

If the Memphis Tigers keep winning football games they won’t be the best kept secret in college football. The Tigers and their powder keg offense visit the USF Bulls in an NFL stadium on Friday, which is only fitting because that’s where Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch will be working real soon. The Tigers have won 11 straight games and better not overlook the Bulls with No. 3 Ole Miss Rebels on the schedule in two weeks.... 

Nippert Stadium is expected to be blacked out for Thursday’s game, but the Hurricanes are likely to throw the knockout punch. Cincinnati will turn to a freshman quarterback for his first career start after Gunner Kiel got knocked out of last week’s game. The Bearcats’ fast-paced offense and matador defense has led to them cashing the over in all four games while Miami looks to stay undefeated before heading into ACC play....
