Yet the rebuild at UW is coming along nicely under Chris Peterson and win over the rival Ducks will only validate what the second-year coach has working. The Pac-12’s lone unbeaten looks to stay on course for a trip to the College Football Playoff when the Utah Utes welcome Arizona State to Salt Lake City. The Utes are coming off a pair of wins over ranked conference foes after knocking off Cal and Oregon in the last two weeks and take part in another marquee conference matchup. The winner will have the inside track to the Pac-12 South title and the Utes need to snap an 11-game losing streak to ASU to get the pole position....
The Georgia Bulldogs begin life without their Heisman hopeful Nick Chubb after the star running back was lost for the year last week with a knee injury. They will have to penetrate the stingy Missouri defense with a committee of backs and a struggling quarterback.The Dawgs may not have to produce much offensively to get a win since the Tigers have been historically bad this season scoring points, playing below the total in all six games....
Anu Solomon is back, the ground game was productive, and there’s hope again in Tucson for a respectable season. More importantly, the Wildcats defense made an appearance. They look to continue the momentum of a thrashing delivered to Oregon State last week with a visit to Boulder on Saturday. The Buffaloes haven’t won a Pac-12 game in their last 13 tries and are just 3-8 SU in their last 11 home games....
The Florida State Seminoles have been living dangerously for the second straight season, barely escaping games which could have easily been lost. The oddsmakers are onto their act, and they're hinting to you that an upset on Saturday at home against the Louisville Cardinals is entirely possible....

After starting the season 3-0 against a weak non-conference schedule and climbing into the top 20 in the national polls, the Wildcats have been stomped by UCLA at home and Stanford on the road in back-to-back weeks to start Pac-12 play. Not what the faithful in Tucson expected from this group. Arizona will be without All-American linebacker Scooby Wright and quarterback Anu Solomon is recovering from a concussion. We saw how well not having those two in the lineup worked out for the Wildcats the last two games....
Two weeks ago the Sun Devils were left for dead following a thrashing by USC. Many were wondering if Arizona State was even bowl-worthy after dropping to 2-2 with a four-touchdown loss at home after a shaky start to the year. ASU is back after upsetting UCLA as a 12.5-point underdog, and it didn’t feel like an upset either. The Sun Devils will try to avoid a letdown against the Pac-12 doormat Colorado, entering the game as a two-touchdown favorite to knock off the Buffs....
No, Georgia fans, the sky isn’t falling. After getting drubbed at home by Alabama last week for their first loss of the year, the Bulldogs are not in a free-fall and still control their own destiny in the SEC East. Out of all the FBS teams, six have led every game by at least 13 points. Tennessee is one of them. The Vols are 2-3. Everybody else is 20-0. These are frustrating times on Rocky Top....
