The Oakland Raiders were not very competitive last season when they lost star quarterback Derek Carr. Can they be better in 2017? Carr won’t play in the team’s Week 5 game against the Baltimore Ravens, which vastly shifts the win expectation for Oakland. The Raiders would have been solid favorites with Carr but now must try to scratch out the victory with E.J. Manuel under center.Baltimore’s offense has been putrid the past two weeks and the team has to figure some things out or else it will start falling out of the playoff chase. The Ravens catch a break in this game and would love to take advantage by dominating on defense to grab the road win.... 

The Dallas Cowboys only lost three games all of last season and already have been defeated twice in their first four this year. They will aim to turn it around in Week 5 but have a tough matchup against the Green Bay Packers. These two teams met in the NFC Divisional Round a season ago, with Green Bay pulling off the upset.The Packers have looked good early on and even though Dallas has had some issues, it still has a talented roster. The Cowboys are slight favorites based on the location but this game seems like it could go either way. Much will depend on the quarterbacks, as Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers and Dallas’ Dak Prescott are among the most talented signal-callers in the NFL.... 

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the NFL this season, winning games they were expected to lose and underperforming in others. They are 2-2 on the year and tied atop the AFC South and would love to pull off another upset this week. They are going to be significant underdogs when they face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.While the AFC has been topsy-turvy in the earlygoing, Pittsburgh has been pretty good, starting the season 3-1 despite a loss to the Bears. They are hoping to push for a top seed in the playoffs and must take care of business in games like this in order to make a run at that.... 

It might be too late for either of these teams to turn it around because of the huge hole they have dug themselves into thus far. In an ultra-competitive NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles have taken the early lead at the quarter pole. They are 3-1 on the season with a couple of close wins and will aim to stay ahead of the pack with a home win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. The Cardinals were expected to push for a playoff spot this season and have started 2-2, but have not looked very good and are perilously close to falling out of contention without a reversal of fortunes.The Eagles have the more talented team and play at home, so they are the easy call as the favorite in this matchup. The Cardinals have a good defense and that unit will need to play really well to give the team a chance at the upset because the offense is struggling currently.... 

The Titans are clearly the better team, when healthy, but quarterback Marcus Mariota was injured against Houston. If he can’t play, that completely changes the tenor of this contest. The defense has been the culprit early on for New England, as it has been unable to slow the Chiefs or Panthers in their losses. The unit must pick it up against a Buccaneers offense that can be explosive behind quarterback Jameis Winston and wide receiver Mike Evans.Tom Brady continues to play well, but if the defense can’t clamp down this one could be a shootout.... 

Detroit knocked off the Minnesota Vikings on the road last time out and are likewise tied atop the NFC North. The Panthers’ offense got rolling last time out, which is something that needed to be done after their defense led the way early on. If Cam Newton can play well, Carolina should be able to stick around in this game and vie for the upset even as the road underdog.The Lions’ defense has been surprisingly stingy thus far, and with Matthew Stafford playing well at quarterback, this is a team that has the look of a playoff contender.... 

Cleveland was a fellow expected cellar dweller and has lived down to those expectations with a winless record through four games. The Browns were blown out by the Bengals last time out but will be favored in their home game in this one as they look to finally pick up a win.The Jets are certainly capable of winning this game, which would surprise a bunch of people to see them get over .500 on the year. However, they will still be underdogs as Cleveland’s home field advantage is key.... 

The Bengals are just 1-3 on the season while the Bills are 3-1, but it is Cincy who enters this game as the favorite. The home field advantage is key, as the general feeling is that the talent level on each side is pretty even.Buffalo is coming off a fantastic road win over the Falcons to grab sole possession of first place in the AFC East for now as the Patriots struggle. The Bengals picked up a much-needed win over the Browns last time out and hope to make the trek back to .500 and back into playoff contention.... 

Indianapolis is sitting at just 1-3 on the season, but a win can get it to within a game of .500 and sitting in the middle of a crowded pack. A loss, though, would be a big blow to their chances at making a postseason push.The 49ers can already make alternate plans during the playoffs after their 0-4 start, but this is a team clearly on the right track. San Francisco has been close to a win its past three times out and would love to get over the hump in this one.... 

The Redskins would love to repeat their blowout victory over the Oakland Raiders but will be road underdogs in this showdown. Kansas City has been the most impressive team in the NFL on the young season and can continue that trend with a quality win at home against a potential playoff team.Watch this regular season Week 4 matchup live on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 8:30 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium.... 

These teams are each 2-1 on the season and have some impressive moments under their belt, but each need to keep winning with division foe Kansas City looking really good early on. The AFC West figures to be a heavyweight battle from start to finish, and both of these teams could really use this win.The Broncos are the home team and thus slight favorites, but this seems like a game that could really go either way.... 

The Bucs looked great in their season opener in Week 2 after Hurricane Irma delayed their start, but were blown out on Sunday by the Vikings. Tampa Bay is a hard team to figure out and this game might bring some more clarity.Both of these clubs aspired to make the playoffs before the season began, but the Giants will already be in dire straits if they can’t manage a victory.... 

The Colts got their first win last week over the Browns but are still without star quarterback Andrew Luck. The Seahawks are at home and many are expecting a dominant showing as the Colts are a big-time underdog. The AFC South looks to be ultra-competitive this season, and the Tennessee Titans can take a leg up if they go into Houston and pull out a win in Week 4. Tennessee has the more complete team, but the home field advantage counts for something, so this one could be a toss-up.The Texans blew a golden chance last week and now must win this game to avoid falling into an early-season hole.... 

The Panthers are 2-1 on the season but coming off a poor home loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Carolina offense has not been very good to start the year and that could be trouble as the team is facing off with one of the most potent scoring teams in the NFL in this one.The Panthers are hard to peg and could very well make this a competitive game with all the talent they have scattered throughout the roster. Or they could lay an egg and the Patriots could cruise.... 

The Vikings have been without quarterback Sam Bradford the past two weeks due to a knee injury but were able to dominate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last time out. The difference between Bradford and backup quarterback Case Keenum is a big one, and Bradford’s status will be watched closely by bettors heading into this one.The Vikings have a good defense and are playing at home, so they have some things going for them, but a big disadvantage at quarterback could be hard to overcome.... 

After blowout wins over the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville looks like it will exceed expectations in 2017. The question is, by how much? If the Jaguars are truly playoff contenders, they must win games like these on the road. New York picked up its first victory of the year in a dominant defensive effort against the Miami Dolphins last time out, and if it plays well again there is certainly a possibility of pulling the upset.Kickoff for this regular season Week 3 game is set for Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium.... 

Los Angeles has lost two of their three games in the final seconds and this could be another close one as the oddsmakers have pegged the Chargers as the slightest of favorites. The Eagles are coming off a thrilling last-second win over the New York Giants to improve to 2-1 and a road win would be a big boost as they aim for a run at the NFC East title and a playoff berth.This matchup in Week 4 of the regular season will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 4:05 p.m. ET at the StubHub Center.... 

The Cardinals have been underwhelming during a 1-2 start but should nonetheless be a solid home favorite against the 49ers. Arizona is trying to solve its offensive woes after injuries to some key players, and it will be interesting to see how it fares against a San Francisco defense which has been inconsistent.This matchup in Week 4 of the regular season will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. ET at University of Phoenix Stadium.... 

Both teams are still 2-1 on the season as they prepare for a critical divisional clash in Week 4. The Ravens are at home, which should keep them competitive in this game, but the Steelers will be the favorites. The Saints went on the road and knocked off the Carolina Panthers last time out, a win they badly needed after an 0-2 start. Miami was woeful offensively against New York but should be able to bounce back against a poor Saints defense. The games in London are always tough to peg because it’s unknown how the trip will affect each team. Dallas finished last season with a 13-3 record and returned almost every key player of note from that team. The Cowboys are 1-1 on the season heading into a “Monday Night Football” matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Buffalo is coming off a nice victory over the Denver Broncos and has the type of ball control offense which is essential in keeping the high-powered Atlanta offense on the sideline.
