It is team play on the European Tour this week with the GolfSixes event in the United Kingdom. It is also a short tournament, as play begins on Saturday and wraps up on Sunday. The three teams getting the most attention in terms of the betting odds are the Denmark team of Lucas Bjerregaard and Thorbjorn Olesen, the France team of Alexander Levy and Romain Wattel and the Spain team of Pablo Larrazabal and Adrian Otaegui. Let’s look at the odds and predictions for the GolfSixes.

Odds Analysis
Denmark - Bjerregaard & Olesen +550
The defending champions of this event are co-favorites at odds of +550. Olesen has had a knack for team events, but it is still really hard to get excited aboutr this team at these odds. The only previous experience in match play for Bjerregaard was in this event a year ago. I just can’t back this team at these low odds.
France - Levy & Wattel +550
I know that Levy has played really well of late, but I want no part of these two in match play. Levy is 2-9 in previous singles match play, while Wattel is 0-2. I know this field isn’t that strong, but I am not bucking those numbers.
Spain - Larrazabal & Otaegui +550
Among the three favorites, I like the Spain team the best, as Otaegui is excellent in match play at 6-0 all-time. I know Larrazabal isn’t that great at 2-7, but he is playing well right now and this should be a good pairing for him.
South Africa - Coetzee & Porteous +800
Coetzee is 7-8-1 in previous match play events, while Porteous is 4-2. Both of these players have been up and down this season and I am not sure 8-1 is enough to get me on board.
England - Pepperell & Wallace +900
Why not the home favorites at odds of +900? Both players know this area well and will get a ton of support. Neither has any previous match play experience, but it may not matter, as both come in playing well. I like this team at odds of +900.
Sweden - Bjork & Lagergren +1100
Bjork is definitely playing well, as he won last week and Lagergren tied for 3rd in Morocco, so you can make a case they should do well this weekend. Neither has much play experience, but that may not matter.
Australia - Brazel & Ormsby +1600
My longshot team this week is the Australian duo. Brazel was teamed up with Scott Hend last year and he made the final and Ormsby did well in the 2017 World Super 6 Perth event last year, finishing in a tie for 8th. I think these two could be in the mix on Sunday.
Course: This event is played on just six holes at the Centurion Club. The first hole is a par 3 that measures 175 yards. The other par 3 is the 5th hole at 136 yards. The second and fourth holes are par 4’s at 476 and 486 yards, while the other two holes are par 5’s that measure 526 and 536 yards.
