Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth are currently in fifth- and sixth-place in the Premier League respectively. While many expected the Gunners to be in that spot, the Cherries have been one of the surprises of the season, and their fans would be over the moon if they ended the season in a position to qualify for the Europa League. These two teams will meet in south England on Sunday and a result would be huge for Bournemouth in this one.

Odds Analysis
Both of these teams have been in a little bit of a slump recently. AFC Bournemouth were in a great position at the end of October. The Cherries were 6-2-2, and they were starting to feel confident about their chances of making it into European competition. However, they were unable to pick up a result at home against Manchester United, missing out on a point in extra time, and they suffered a tough loss to Newcastle United right before the international break.
Arsenal don’t have to worry about moving on to the next round of the Europa League anymore after their draw with Sporting Lisbon two weeks ago. They have already clinched a spot in the knockout round, and they can turn their attention to the Premier League for the time being. The Gunners looked like they were ready to make a run at the big boys in the EPL, but they have now drawn with Liverpool and Wolves at the Emirates in their last two games.
Key Injuries
Each side is dealing with a number of injuries ahead of this game. Bournemouth starting right back Adam Smith suffered a major knee injury against Newcastle United, and he has been ruled out for the next three months. Jefferson Lerma has a thigh injury, and he has been ruled out for this one. Joshua King and Junior Stanislas are both considered questionable to play in this one, while Asmir Begovic is probable.
Arsenal won’t have center backs Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos for a while longer, and both Danny Welbeck and Stefan Lichtsteiner have been declared out for this game. However, Nacho Monreal is almost ready to return, and he has been ruled probable to play here. Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have both been deemed probable too.
Player to Watch
Mesut Ozil is heralded by many as the best player on this Arsenal side. Ozil has the third-most goals on the team, but he is really known for his playmaking ability and his set-up skills. He is often the key to an attack or the reason for a goal even if his name doesn’t show up on the stat screen, and Arsenal will be asking him to do even more than usual with Aubameyang and Lacazette a little nicked up. The duo have scored 12 goals for the Gunners this season, so Ozil might be asked to play more of an attacking role.
Prop Bet of the Game – AFC Bournemouth 1 – Arsenal 1 +527
These are two teams that like to score goals and lean on their offense, but we are entering the cold, rainy season in England, and Bournemouth is expected to be cold and rainy all game long for this one. With so many players banged up, both sides would just shrug their shoulders at a draw, so this exact score is worth a bet at this price.

I like the draw quite a bit in this one, and I’m going to go against the grain and take the under. Bournemouth and Arsenal have prolific offenses, but the weather will play a factor.
