This week, players return from international break and that means domestic leagues are back in action. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are set to square off for the first time this season in the NBC Match of the Week on Saturday. Both clubs are currently in the top four in the Premier League standings, with Chelsea on 28 points and Tottenham right behind them on 27 points. Each team will be looking for a result in order to stay within striking distance of Manchester City and to stay ahead of fifth-place Arsenal.
Don't miss the English Premier League action from Wembley Stadium in London at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Catch every moment of the match live on NBC.

Odds Analysis
It’s been a good year for Chelsea, and now the club no longer has to worry about European football for a while. The Blues have clinched the top spot in their Europe League group already, so that will give the starters time to rest instead of playing mid-week matches in order to stay fresh for domestic action. This team has looked strong all year under first-year manager Maurizio Sarri, and they have yet to lose a game. Chelsea have won three and drawn two in their last five games, and their most recent outing was a 0-0 draw with Everton.
Tottenham have a lifeline for their European hopes, but they desperately need a win against Inter Milan this week to stay alive in the Champions League. A draw would likely snuff out their chances of making it to the next round, denying them of additional revenue from the lucrative league. Domestically, Spurs rebounded from a tough loss at home to Manchester City at the end of November to knock off Wolves and Crystal Palace and keep pace for a top four finish. These next two weeks will be crucial for them though as their next two Premier League foes are Chelsea and Arsenal.
Key Injuries
Marco van Ginkel is a long-term injury for Chelsea, while Ethan Ampadu seems unlikely to play after being driven into the boards during Wales’ match with Denmark. He was sent back to Chelsea early by his national team for further evaluation. Mateo Kovacic is considered a gametime decision due to an injury.
Spurs are going to be without a lot of players in this match. Vincent Janssen, Jan Vertonghen, and Danny Rose have all been out for a while, and Mousa Dembele picked up an ankle injury two weeks ago that will keep him out until January. Davinson Sanchez has been declared out too, and Kieran Trippier is questionable to play through a groin injury.
Player to Watch
With so many injuries to key players, Tottenham’s stars need to rise to the occasion here. In the past, this is where I’ve talked about Harry Kane, but Christian Eriksen will need to play well too.
Tottenham’s top midfielder was given some time off by his national team over the international break, and that will help him be fresh for this match. Eriksen had been out for a month with an abdominal injury, so Spurs are getting him back at just the right time. Eriksen’s creativity will be needed here.
Prop Bet of the Game – Under 2 and 2.5 +154
Chelsea have been one of the most explosive teams in the Premier League this season with Eden Hazard setting a scorching pace, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them play with a little more caution against a team that can effectively counter. Spurs won’t be at their full potential due to injury though, making the under an alluring option.

The draw is a good option here, as well as the under. You can’t parlay these two in soccer, but both options are worth plays.
