The last match between Big Six clubs will have huge consequences on the final table. Both Chelsea and Manchester United are gunning for a top four finish and a spot in next year’s Champions League. This is a must-win for Manchester United considering they are three points behind Chelsea and six points behind Tottenham Hotspur with three games to play, while Chelsea don’t have any breathing room either as they are up just one point on rivals Arsenal for fourth place.

Odds Analysis
Manchester United have been in a tailspin in recent weeks. The Red Devils have lost seven of their last nine matches in all competitions after a stunning win over Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital in Champions League play, and anything other than a win likely sentences them to Europa League play. United have been outscored 9-0 in their last three matches, and while losses to Barcelona and Manchester City are understandable, a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Everton is unacceptable for the proud club.
Chelsea haven’t been playing too well either, but unlike Arsenal and Manchester United they at least got a result last week. Their fans weren’t too pleased with a draw against Burnley, but it helped the Blues regain fourth place in the table. It will be interesting to see who Maurizio Sarri selects for this match with a Europa League tilt against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
The Blues beat Manchester United for the FA Cup last year, and they played spoiler in mid-October. The embattled Jose Mourinho looked set to get a big road win against his former club, but a Ross Barkley goal in the sixth minute of extra time gave Chelsea a draw.
Key Injuries
Ethan Ampadu and Marco van Ginkel are long-term injuries for Chelsea, and now Callum Hudson-Odoi will be lost into next season after rupturing his Achilles tendon. Marcos Alonso and Antonio Rudiger are questionable to play in this match, while Willian and N’Golo Kante are probable.
Antonio Valencia will be the only player definitely out for United, while Ander Herrera is doubtful in this match. Eric Bertrand Bailly and Phil Jones are each considered questionable to play.
Player to Watch
Eden Hazard has had an incredible season, and he will have a chip on his shoulder after being snubbed for the PFA Team of the Year. Paul Pogba was selected over him in a puzzling decision that seemed to ignore all the evidence on the field, as Hazard has continually dominated while Pogba has disappeared for long stretches. Hazard’s 16 goals are tied for seventh-most in the league, while his 13 assists lead the league, and he is well ahead of Pogba in both categories.
Prop Bet – Chelsea Over 1.5 Goals +129
The Red Devils have been in poor form, and their defense has been abysmal this season. They have allowed 50 goals for the first time since the Premier League was founded, and their previous record for goals allowed in a campaign was 45. Hazard and company should pick apart this back line.
Free Soccer Betting Pick
I see Chelsea doing what they need to do to stay ahead in the Champions League race, while dooming United to a sixth place finish. Hazard will be involved early and often, and his play will be instrumental in Chelsea picking up a crucial road win.
English Premier League Odds: Chelsea 2, Manchester United 1
