Odds Analysis
It’s been a miserable year for Fulham. They have been unable to get anything going all season long, and they are certain to be relegated at season’s end. The Cottagers are 13 points away from safety, and with just eight games left the chances of them making up that ground are fading by the day. Fulham have lost six straight matches coming into Sunday’s affair, while their defense continues to be one of the worst the Premier League has seen in recent memory. They have allowed 68 goals and have given up multiple goals in 11 straight matches.
As for Liverpool, they are looking to bounce back after blowing a big lead on defending champions Manchester City. The Reds have drawn three of their last six matches in league play, and that inability to get three points proved costly. It was Everton that secured the decisive draw that moved them into second, and they took out their frustrations on Burnley in a 4-2 win last week. The Reds have not been too impressive on the road lately though, and they haven’t tallied multiple goals away from Anfield in league play since December.
In the first meeting between these teams, Liverpool dominated. At Anfield, the Reds controlled 73 percent of the possession and fired 21 shots on Fulham in a 2-0 win with Mo Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri providing the goals.
Key Injuries
Alfie Mawson will miss at least one more month for Fulham, and Marcus Bettinelli is out for an unspecified amount of time due to a knee injury. Andre Schurrle has been dealing with a virus, and is considered questionable.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain continues to be out for Liverpool, and Joe Gomez is expected to miss at least one more league game with an ankle injury. Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are considered questionable to play.
Player to Watch
Usually this is where I highlight one of Liverpool’s star forwards, but this time I’m going to go in another direction. It will be interesting to see how Joel Matip plays for Liverpool following an own goal that could have been disastrous in Munich. Matip has been the only player under fire after the win over Bayern Munich, and he could hear some taunts from Fulham fans.
Prop Bet – Liverpool to score 3 or more goals -133
The Reds have an incredible offense, and I can see them pouring it on here. Fulham are in desperate need of a win to have the slightest chance of surviving another year in the Premier League, and they can’t hope to hold for a draw. If Liverpool scores an early goal, the dam could break and we could see Liverpool pour them in.

The only thing I’m really afraid of on the side of Liverpool is rest. Jurgen Klopp may want to give a few key players the match off, and that could throttle the scoring. Otherwise, I think Liverpool run amok.
English Premier League Odds: Liverpool 3, Fulham 1
