The most recent international break has given us all a chance to catch our breath. The competition between Liverpool and Manchester City to see which team will win the Premier League has been fierce. Liverpool are currently two points ahead of City headed into the weekend, but they have also played one more game than the Citizens. Both teams play this weekend, and City are likely to move back ahead of Liverpool for at least a day when they face relegation bound Fulham on Saturday.

Odds Analysis
It’s been an awful year for Fulham. The Cottagers are sure to drop down to Championship at the end of the season with just 17 points through 31 games, and they are 13 points away from safety entering this match.
Fulham have not earned a result since a 4-2 come from behind win over Brighton on January 29. On that day, the Cottagers scored four second half goals to get the win, but they have lost seven in a row since that point. They have given up 17 goals in those seven losses, as their defense continues to be the worst in the league. Fulham were somewhat close to getting a draw against Liverpool two weeks ago though before falling 2-1.
We haven’t seen City in Premier League action since they beat Watford 3-1 on March 19. In the meantime, the Citizens have been continuing their quest for an unprecedented quadruple. They crushed Schalke 7-0 in the second leg of their Champions League clash on March 12, and they survived a scare from Swansea City before pulling away to win 3-2 in the FA Cup Quarterfinals.
These teams have met three times this season, and Fulham have yet to score a goal on Manchester City. In Premier League action, City beat Fulham 3-0 with goals from Leroy Sane, David Silva, and Raheem Sterling in mid-September. City also beat Fulham 2-0 in the Carabao Cup Round of 16 in November thanks to a brace from Brahim Diaz.
Key Injuries
Alfie Mawson and Marcus Bettinelli will both miss this game for Fulham. Mawson is expected back in a few weeks, while Bettinelli has not been given a return date yet. Andre Schurrle is probable to play through a virus.
Vincent Kompany and Claudio Bravo are both set to miss the match on the side of Manchester City. Fabian Delph, Nicolas Otamendi, and Benjamin Mendy are all questionable to play, and John Stones, Kevin De Bruyne, and Fernandinho are all probable.
Player to Watch
Raheem Sterling has been phenomenal this season. He has 15 goals for City in Premier League play and netted a hat trick against Watford three weeks ago. Sterling scored those three goals in the span of 13 minutes in the second half, and he proved he wasn’t done during the international break. He netted a hat trick against the Czech Republic for England on Friday, and he added another goal against Montenegro on Monday.
Prop Bet – Manchester City Clean Sheet -117
If Fulham haven’t scored against City in either of their previous meetings, I don’t see them scoring now. The Citizens have not been exceptionally sharp in defense, but I’ll take my chances in a coin flip here.
Free Soccer Betting Pick
Any result other than a Manchester City victory would be a stunner here. The Citizens are better than Fulham at every position, and they have everything to play for, while Fulham have nothing on the line but pride.
English Premier League Odds: Manchester City 2, Fulham 0
