It’s been a rough week for Manchester City. The Citizens could have clinched the Premier League last week at home against Manchester United and had a proper celebration. City jumped out to a 2-0 lead 30 minutes in and it looked like the supporters could start to celebrate an EPL title.
It just wasn’t meant to be. Despite City outshooting United 20-5, the Red Devils roared back in the second half with Paul Pogba scoring two goals in rapid succession followed by the game-winner from Chris Smalling coming a short time later. That led to a United victory and put City’s title on ice for a little while longer.
The club set its sights on erasing a 3-0 deficit against Liverpool in the Champions League, and things looked good for a while. City scored early to put fear into Liverpool and then were unjustly robbed of a Leroy Sane goal by a bad offsides call. Mo Salah notched a goal a short time later to end any hope of a City comeback.
This Saturday, Manchester City will look to right the ship and potentially lock up the Premier League. They will be taking on Tottenham Hotspur.

Odds Analysis
Back in December, Manchester City left no doubt who the better side was when these teams met. Ilkay Gundogan scored early in the first half to put Man City up, and the Citizens responded beautifully when Tottenham started to press for the equalizer.
Kevin De Bruyne scored in the 70th minute to make Man City’s lead safer, while Raheem Sterling scored a brace in the final 10 minutes of regulation to make it look like a rout. Christian Eriksen was able to pull one back for Spurs in injury time, but by then it was too little, too late.
Key Injuries
Harry Kane is back in the line-up and that’s great news for Tottenham. The club kept up its strong play without him on the pitch, and now they look even stronger with Kane available once again. Spurs will be without a few others for this match though. Harry Winks has been ruled out with an ankle injury, while Kyle Walker-Peters injured his thigh and will miss this match. Kieran Trippier is considered probable to play.
Manchester City will be without a few players for this match as well. Fernandinho has accumulated too many yellow cards and will miss the match for disciplinary reasons, while both John Stones and Benjamin Mendy have been ruled out due to injury.
Player to Watch
As well as Tottenham played in his absence, the club needs Kane in the starting eleven in order to consistently challenge the top teams in England. Kane has won back-to-back Golden Boots for being the top scorer in the Premier League, and he is looking to catch Mo Salah for his third in a row this year.
Kane has netted 25 goals for Spurs, and you can be sure the club will give him a lot of chances to get there. Tottenham knows his value as a finisher, and he has only six games left to make up the gap on Salah.

The oddsmakers are giving these sides an equal chance to win this match. That’s a bit of a surprise considering Manchester City’s recent struggles. Despite their dominance throughout the year, there is a good chance they will have a hangover effect after such a tough string of results. This is a great spot to take Tottenham and one of the few times you will find them at +odds at home.
