The Manchester Derby is the premier game of the weekend. Manchester City is looking dominant once more, and the Citizens appear on the verge of creating distance between themselves and the rest of the teams in the Premier League. They have been incredible this season, leading the league in points, goals, and goals allowed just like they did in their record-setting 2017-18 campaign. A result of any kind would be a victory for Manchester United. The Red Devils have turned things around after a dreadful start to the year, and they did knock off the Citizens the last time these teams met. However, that game didn’t mean much to City and United know they have their work cut out for them here.

Odds Analysis
Manchester United have rebounded following a bad loss to West Ham United. They have three wins and one draw in their last four league games, and only a Chelsea goal in the sixth minute of extra time prevented it from being four wins in four games. That has helped United rise from 12th to 7th in the table, and they have revitalized their Champions League aspirations too. Their win over Juventus earlier this week may have been fluky, but Jose Mourinho and company will take it.
It’s getting kind of boring to write about City’s dominance. The Citizens continue to look like the best team in the Premier League by a wide margin. They are now two points up on Chelsea and Liverpool, and they are 9-2-0 this year with the two draws coming against Wolves and Liverpool. City have defeated five of the six teams they have faced at home by at least two goals.
Key Injuries
Kevin de Bruyne will not be available for Manchester City in this one. The Citizens’ star midfielder has had a star-crossed campaign, missing out on a month due to a knee injury and then injuring the other shortly after his return. He will be out for the next five weeks. City will also be without Claudio Bravo and Eliaquim Mangala.
The same can be said for Antonio Valencia. He has already been sidelined for three different injuries in three months, and he will miss this match too because of a knock. The same goes for defender Diogo Dalot, who missed last week’s match too. Forward Romelu Lukaku is seen as a gametime decision with an unspecified injury.
Player to Watch
For Manchester United to get a point, the back line must be solid. That means Victor Lindelof will have to play a great game against the best attack in England. Lindelof has had an up and down season for the club. He was in the doghouse for a bit with some dreadful play early on, but he has since rebounded and played well. However, United have allowed 18 goals through 11 matches, so there have certainly been problems in defense.
Prop Bet of the Game – Manchester City to score three or more goals -111
City are absolutely superb on offense, and it will be very difficult for Manchester United to slow them down. Mourinho has crafted great plans before, but there is just a massive gap in talent here. I look for City to knock in three or four.

Take the over and Manchester City in this one. City have been incredible, and I don’t see them dropping points just yet. They are able to attack from anywhere in Pep Guardiola’s offense, and the Red Devils will buckle.
English Premier League Odds: Manchester City 4, Manchester United 1
