Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally been rewarded for turning around Manchester United’s fortunes. When the Norwegian was hired to replace Jose Mourinho back in December, he was given the title of interim manager. He kept that title for way too long as United turned around their season, but after the club made it to the Champions League Quarterfinals and once again challenged for a spot in the top four, the interim label was finally taken off. He led Manchester United to another win in his first game since signing a permanent deal with the club on Saturday against Watford, and he will be out to grab another win against Wolverhampton this Tuesday.

Odds Analysis
Wolverhampton continue to be one of the more frustrating teams to figure out in the Premier League. Wolves are a team that is constantly picking up results against Big Six clubs when they can counter and don’t have to press the attack, but when they play smaller clubs, they don’t pack the same punch. Their last two losses were against Huddersfield Town and Burnley, with the latter coming this past Saturday. The Clarets beat Wolves 2-0, and that put a ding in their potential European hopes. Wolverhampton are currently seventh in the Premier League table. Four clubs are now within two points of them though.
Even if Arsenal defeat Newcastle United on Monday, Manchester United are level for a spot in the top four. They have been incredible over the last three and a half months, losing just three times during that stretch. The Red Devils beat Watford 2-1 this weekend in order to draw level on points with slumping Tottenham Hotspur, and they are only behind on goal differential.
The Wanderers have picked up results in both of their matches against Manchester United this season. Wolverhampton drew 1-1 with United at Old Trafford in late September, and they were able to send the Red Devils out of the FA Cup Quarterfinals two weeks ago. Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota scored in a short span to put Wolves ahead, and a late Marcus Rashford goal was too little, too late.
Key Injuries
Ryan Bennett won’t be available for this match after picking up his tenth yellow card of the season against Burnley. He will be suspended for just this game, but the defender will be missed against a revamped United attack.
Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia, and Matteo Darmian are all slated to miss this match for Manchester United. Eric Bertrand Bailly is unlikely to play after suffering a concussion, while Anthony Martial has been cleared to play on Tuesday.
Player to Watch
Paul Pogba has been unleashed under Solskjaer. The midfielder is no longer mercurial like he was under Mourinho, and his play has taken Manchester United to another level. He has 11 goals and nine assists this campaign, and he has looked like one of the most dangerous players in England.
Prop Bet – Wolverhampton PK and +0.5 +115
Wolves are one of the top defending teams in the Premier League, and the Red Devils have had an incredibly difficult time scoring on them. They are great against the better clubs in England, and United have been vulnerable in defense. Manchester United were outshot by Watford on Saturday, and that bodes well for Wolves finding a goal.
Free Soccer Betting Pick
I think Wolverhampton will get the win here. They have earned a result in their two prior games with United and should have won to nil last time.
English Premier League Odds: Wolverhampton 1, Manchester United 0
