Tottenham Hotspur have had their most impressive season yet. Spurs are on pace to have their best Premier League showing ever, and the fact that they have done it without another major signing while dealing with numerous injuries has made Mauricio Pochettino a hot commodity. He has been linked with a move to Manchester United at the end of the season, but Spurs are desperate to keep him, especially if they beat out Liverpool or Manchester City to finish in the top two. They will look to keep it going against Burnley this Saturday.

Odds Analysis
The Clarets had a disastrous first half of the season, but they may have finally stopped the bleeding. Burnley finished seventh in the league in 2017-18, yet they have been in the relegation zone for much of this year. Two weeks ago, they pulled themselves out of the bottom three and gave themselves some breathing room too with a big road win over Brighton. Burnley countered well, and a Chris Wood brace and a Ashley Barnes penalty gave them the cushion they needed in a 3-1 win.
Spurs are in incredible form. Tottenham have won four straight in the Premier League, many of those in the final 10 minutes, and they just scored a huge win in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tilt with Borussia Dortmund. Son Heung-min opened the scoring, and then Jan Vertonghen and Fernando Llorente added two more goals in the final 10 minutes to give Spurs a huge edge ahead of the second leg.
Key Injuries
Jonathan Walters is about a month away returning for Burnley. Walters suffered a partial rupture in his Achilles tendon in late September, and he was initially ruled out for six months. The club is looking forward to his return, but it doesn’t look like Aaron Lennon is coming back any time soon. Lennon underwent surgery for a major knee injury right around Christmas, and he is likely out for the year. Steven Defour is questionable to play with a strained calf.
Ben Davies and Vincent Janssen continue to be out for Spurs, but we might see Harry Kane in action for the first time in five weeks. Kane was originally ruled out until mid-March after sustaining an ankle injury against Manchester United, but he is ahead of schedule in his recovery and considered probable to play. His return would give the club a huge lift, even though Dele Alli is still out for another month.
Player to Watch
It feels like I’ve highlighted Son Heung-min often since Kane went down with an injury, but it’s been for good reason. The South Korean international has had a phenomenal year, and he has been incredible in holding the line while Spurs were depleted with injuries. This has been his best season yet, and he continues to shine.
Previous Meeting
Burnley nearly grabbed a result when these teams met two months ago. For 90 minutes, the Clarets defended well and were in line for a draw despite not registering a shot on goal, but then disaster stuck when Christian Eriksen fired home a game winner in the first minute of extra time. The win was huge for Spurs and helped establish their reputation as a late-game team.
Prop Bet – Over 2.5 and 3 Goals +105
Although Burnley were tough in defense last time, the Clarets have largely given up a lot of goals to Big Six clubs. Every other big team has scored at least two goals against them, and I see Kane’s return taking Tottenham to a new level.

The over is a good play here, and I like Tottenham too provided Kane plays. He will give the team a huge lift.
