Odds Analysis
West Ham are just two points clear of relegation a little less than a quarter of the way through the campaign, and that is not a place they expected to be. This is one of the richer teams in England, and they spent over 100 million pounds on transfers this season to try to contend with some of the bigger clubs.
At least the Hammers are out of the relegation zone. They lost their first four games to start the year, before winning two and drawing one of their last five matches. Those wins were awfully impressive too. They knocked off Everton and Manchester United, and their draw against Chelsea helped too. West Ham have faced all the top teams in the league save Manchester City, and they are likely to bolster their record with their upcoming stretch.
Leicester City will forever remember their impossible Premier League title a few years ago, and it’s unlikely the Foxes will ever ascend to the top spot in England again. However, this team is also expecting more than just staying in the Premier League, and a trip back to Europe would be nice.
This clubs has picked up some decent results on the year with four wins to this point, but the Foxes are still struggling to beat the top teams in England. They lost to Everton before the international break, and they suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Monday.
Key Injuries
Center back Wes Morgan won’t be available for Leicester City due to a red card picked up against Everton, and midfielder Matty James has been ruled out as he continues to recover from a lower leg injury. Forward Demarai Gray is listed as questionable because of a foot injury, while forward Jamie Vardy has been under the weather due to illness yet is probable to play.
Seven players have already been ruled out for West Ham ahead of this match. Midfielders Carlos Sanchez, Pedro Obiang, Jack Wilshere, and Manuel Lanzini, forwards Andriy Yarmolenko and Andy Carroll, and defender Winston Reid won’t play against Leicester City.
Player to Watch
Although West Ham have allowed 14 goals this season, Lukasz Fabianski has played great in net for the club. Fabianski has been peppered with shots as West Ham’s defense has not jelled, but he has stood tall in net and kept attackers at bay. He had a great outing against Tottenham last week, and he is the biggest reason for the Hammers to be confident about a result heading into this match.
Prop Bet of the Game – Under 1.5 goals at +233
The injuries suffered by West Ham mean that the club will have to rely on Marko Arnautovic to score, while Fabianski’s play won’t allow the Foxes to do much on offense. Those two factors have me liking the alternate under in this one.

This one is going to be low scoring, and I like the under too. It’s hard for me to pick a winner though. If push comes to shove, I would take Leicester City on the three-way line, but the under is the better play.
English Premier League Odds: Leicester City 1, West Ham 0
