The middle of the pack is getting awfully crowded in the Premier League. Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently right in the thick of things, and both teams are jockeying for positioning at this point of the year. The Foxes are 9-4-9 and are currently sitting in eighth place due to a better goal differential than West Ham, while Wolves are 8-5-9 and three points back because of that one less win. The hosts will look to draw level in the standings with the visitors with a win on Saturday.

Odds Analysis
Both these clubs have given their supporters some puzzling results over the last month or so. Leicester City went on the road and defeated both Chelsea and Everton, nearly knocked off Manchester City in cup play and did beat Manchester City at home on Boxing Day. However, they also lost to Crystal Palace, Cardiff City, and Southampton, with the latter two defeats coming at home. The Foxes are out of the FA Cup after a bad loss to Newport County as well, further flummoxing their fans.
Wolves have been doing stuff like this all year. They have continually grabbed results against top six teams only to throw away those points a week or two later with a head-scratching loss to a team considered below them. Before knocking off Tottenham and Liverpool over the past few weeks, Wolves drew on the road with relegation threatened Fulham and were blanked 2-0 by Crystal Palace as well.
Key Injuries
The Foxes have just two injuries of note heading into this match. Midfielder Daniel Amartey is out for the next two months because of a foot injury that he needed surgery for back in November, while defender Jonny Evans is going to miss the next five weeks due to an ankle issue. They will miss both players for the foreseeable future.
Wolves continue to avoid major injury, but they will be without top defender Willy Boly for three matches due to a red card picked up against Manchester City for a poor tackle on Bernardo Silva. That will sting with upcoming winnable matches against West Ham and Everton following this game.
Player to Watch
Without Boly available, there will be a little more pressure on center back Conor Coady. Coady is used to being at the center of it all at this point. While most Premier League teams employ four in defense, Nuno Espirito Sano uses a three-man defense with Coady as the lone man in the middle. His inspired play has led to him earning the captaincy, and now both Liverpool and the English national team are taking long looks at his play. He has been one of the keys to Wolves defense.
Prop Bet of the Game – Wolverhampton Wanderers Under 1.5 Goals -204
Normally, I like to zig when everyone else zags, so you’d might suspect I would take the over here. However, I have not been impressed with either team’s ability to push forward, leaving this as the best prop bet available. Leicester have one of the best defenses in the league with just 25 goals allowed through 22 matches, and Wolves have had a hard time putting the ball in the net. Their 23 goals are lower than most teams around the league, and they don’t have a lot of great options up front.
Free Soccer Betting Pick
When you have a total of two, the draw usually seems like a good option, and this game isn’t any different. Neither team will have much luck on offense and I see a draw to one or nil as the result.
