Huddersfield Town’s hopes of lasting another year in the Premier League are on life support. The Terriers come into Sunday’s tilt with Manchester City in dead last with just 11 points and two wins through 22 matches. They are eight points from safety, and that is increasingly looking unlikely as their performance has plummeted in recent weeks. Although they are playing at home, they are massive underdogs against City this week, and even a draw would be seen as a stunning result.

Odds Analysis
Manchester City are back to looking like their old selves. December was a catastrophic month for the Citizens in terms of their chances of repeating as Premier League champions. They lost road tilts against Chelsea and Leicester City and were stunned at home by Crystal Palace to put them as much as seven points behind Liverpool for the top spot in the league. City are back in full force now though, and a win against Liverpool cut their deficit to four. They are pasting clubs, and they hammered Rotherham 7-0 in the FA Cup and Burton 9-0 in the Carabao Cup in the last two weeks.
The Terriers have not won a game since going on the road to stun Wolves at the end of November. Since then, they are 0-8-1 in Premier League action, and that collapse has crushed their hopes of remaining in England’s top division. Huddersfield Town did play well last weekend though, holding Cardiff City without a shot on goal in a draw. They have scored just 13 goals this season, and the anemic offense is the main reason for their woes.
Key Injuries
Reserve goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is likely to be out the entire season for Manchester City, but the Citizens are finally getting good news in other areas. Vincent Kompany is close to returning to action, and he has been declared questionable for this match. Additionally, Benjamin Mendy may return too, and he is questionable with a knee injury.
To make matters worse, Huddersfield are without their best player for this match. Midfielder Aaron Mooy has missed two weeks due to a knee injury, and he looks set to miss two more. Abdelhamid Sabiri has been declared out due to a shoulder issue, while Danny Williams will be gone for two months because of a knee injury.
Player to Watch
Gabriel Jesus netted a brace in City’s win over Wolves, and that may lead to him getting another start up front. Pep Guardiola has no shortage of offensive options to work with, and he usually uses him to spell Sergio Aguero at the center of the attack. However, the young Brazilian phenom may finally be coming into his own, and Guardiola isn’t likely to sub him out with momentum on his side.
Prop Bet of the Game – Manchester City Win To Nil -161
There aren’t many people that will call for anything other than a City win in this game, so why not better your odds by taking them to pitch a shutout in the win. City have been much improved on defense, and they are playing the worst offense in the Premier League this weekend.

When these two sides met in Manchester back on Matchday 2, City dominated from start to finish. The Citizens fired 32 shots (14 on goal) against the Terriers, while allowing just one shot on target in return in a 6-1 win. This match is likely to be a blowout too.
