Getting points this week would be huge for Fulham. The Cottagers are currently second-to-last in the table, and they need any kind of points they can get going forward. While they are playing a big six club this weekend, they have to be somewhat optimistic about their chances of picking up points. Tottenham Hotspur are in third place in the Premier League standings, but they are being torn asunder by injuries and national team advances, and that has them in a precarious spot this weekend.

Odds Analysis
Spurs are off to one of their best starts ever. They were just a little behind both Liverpool and Manchester City at the halfway point of the season, and they are seven points clear in their bid to qualify for the Champions League once again. That being said, they can’t help but be disappointed in their last match. Spurs were the better team for much of the match against Manchester United, but David De Gea was incredible in net and robbed Spurs of any result at home.
Fulham have performed decently in their last few weeks. The Cottagers have one of the worst defenses in Premier League history, allowing 49 goals in 22 matches, but they have tightened up in the back and are not on pace to allow 100 goals any longer. Fulham have been able to snare a result in three of their last five Premier League matches, but they aren’t getting the wins they need to make up ground to get out of the relegation zone.
Key Injuries
Over the weekend, Spurs held their breath when it came to the prognosis for Harry Kane. Kane avoided the worst-case scenario, but the club’s star forward will be out for a month with an ankle injury. Son Heung-min is also going to be out for the next few weeks because he is representing South Korea in the AFC Asian Cup, and Victor Wanyama will be out for a while too. Moussa Sissoko and Lucas Moura have both been declared doubtful to play, while Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier are questionable.
Only one player is definitely unavailable for Fulham this weekend. Alfie Mawson is out due to a knee injury, and he is out for an unspecified amount of time. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is probable with an ankle injury.
Player to Watch
Christian Eriksen will have his work cut out for him in this one. Eriksen has been the man making it all happen in the midfield for Tottenham for much of his tenure, but he is going to be relied upon even more with Kane, Son, and Moura all likely to be out. He is one of the top set-up men in England with seven assists, and he has shown he can score goals when asked to as well.
Prop Bet of the Game – Exact Score Tottenham 2 – Fulham 1 +620
I’m going to call my shot here. Tottenham should have enough talent to beat a lowly club like Fulham, but it won’t be easy, especially on the road. The Cottagers are likely to score, so I can’t call for a shutout, yet I have faith in Eriksen and the rest of Spurs.

If Fulham were in a harmonious state, I might have picked them to get the win. However, the dust-up between Aleksandar Mitrovic and Aboubakar Kamara shows that there are real problems on this team, so it’s hard to have faith in them. Instead, I expect Spurs to get the win.
