It’s been an incredible season for Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have come on like a freight train over the last few months, and they are now in second place in the Premier League standings. Tottenham have 45 points and are a point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City, and Spurs might have the best chance to catch Liverpool given City’s recent struggles. They will face a bit of a challenge this weekend though when they take on Wolverhampton.

Odds Analysis
Wolverhampton were hoping for a better first half of the season than this. The Wanderers weren’t afraid to open their pocketbooks this offseason, and they believed they would be rewarded for their spending. However, that hasn’t been the case. They are smack dab in the middle of the table in 10th place with 26 points after Boxing Day. Wolves have scored results in four of their last five though, including a win against Chelsea. They will be disappointed with a 1-1 draw against Fulham on Boxing Day though.
There is nothing to be disappointed about on the side of Tottenham. Following a loss to Arsenal in the North London Derby, Spurs have looked like one of the best teams in the world. They were able to secure a draw against Barcelona in Camp Nou to advance to the knockout rounds of the Champions League, and they also avenged their earlier loss with a 2-0 win over the Gunners to make the Carabao Cup Quarterfinals. They have won five straight Premier League matches too, crushing their last two opponents. Spurs blasted Everton 6-2 right before Christmas and steamrolled Bournemouth 5-0 on Boxing Day.
Key Injuries
Diogo Jota is the only player on the injured list for Wolves. He has been dealing with a thigh injury, and he is listed as questionable.
Spurs’ dominance has been especially impressive if you look at the number of players that have been out. Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama are long-term absences, while Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, and Eric Dier are also out but should return soon. The club is hoping that Serge Aurier and Dele Alli will be available for selection, but both players are doubtful.
Matchup to Watch
Harry Kane continues to shine as the main forward in Tottenham’s attack, but everyone is flowing incredibly well together. Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, and Son Heung-Min have strengthened their chemistry, and Lucas Moura has given them an edge. They have taken things to another level in recent weeks, and Spurs fans have been elated with their performance.
They will be facing a defense that has been one of the better units in the Premier League though. Wolves have allowed just 22 goals through 19 matches, and Rui Patricio has been great in net. Spurs lit this defense up for three goals in the Molineux the last time these teams faced off, and Wolves are out to show they can defend this attack.
Prop Bet of the Game – Tottenham Hotspur to win to nil +108
The last time these teams met Wolves picked up two goals, but both of them came off of penalty kicks. At home, I see the Spurs playing more disciplined football, while they continue to score with relative ease. That should lead to another win for the Spurs.

I would stick with props here and not lay the goals or the juice with Tottenham. I like the Spurs to win, but you can find more value in the props here like the one above. Wolves are good on defense and could hold the Spurs to a single score.
English Premier League Odds: Tottenham 2, Wolverhampton 0
