The question is whether or not the United States can keep pace. It seems extremely unlikely that the USA can score only one goal and come away with a result on Friday. The United States team sat back after scoring against Wales and then took a bad penalty and ended up with a draw in a match they should have won. That result may come back to haunt them if they can’t figure out a way to get something out of this match against England. I don’t know that the United States has the defense to keep England in check but I don’t want to lay almost 2-1 on England, especially when a draw is possible. There is also no value in taking the draw, as we don’t get a good enough price. What we can do, however, is play the total. England has so many good offensive players and the U.S. is capable of scoring goals as well. I expect this to be a match that is more wide-open than some people think, so I will go over the total of 2.5 goals.
