Roger Federer may be getting up in age, but he continues to dominate at Wimbledon. He will aim to defend his championship this year and has been installed as the favorite to do so once again.
Federer defeated Marin Cilic in straight sets in last year’s final, claiming his eighth career championship at the tournament. Federer first won in 2003, which began a streak of five consecutive titles before it was finally broken by Rafael Nadal in 2008. Federer won again in 2009 and 2012. He had a recent drought but broke through once again last year.
Federer has also finished as the runner-up three times as it seems like every time Wimbledon comes around he is in the mix for the championship. Federer is 36 years old but hasn’t slowed down much and would love to continue his dominance on the grass court of Wimbledon in tennis gambling.
Wimbledon will be held at The All England Lawn Tennis And Croquet Club in London, England. The tournament will be held from June 28th through July 15th, 2018. Wimbledon will be nationally televised on ESPN channels.
We'll have Wimbledon tennis odds at BookMaker.eu available for every match of the tournament.
Odds Analysis
Federer’s odds have been listed at + 175 to win the tournament, which is actually a little higher than expected based on his track record. However, Federer does only have one championship in his past five attempts at Wimbledon so it’s not a given he comes away with the title.

Andy Murray is an intriguing bet at + 1400 as he has won Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016 but hasn’t been playing his best tennis as of late. Nick Kyrgios has odds of + 1200 to win this tournament, while Alexander Zverev is at + 1600 and Milos Raonic is listed at + 2000. That makes up most of the top contenders, but there are others that are longshots.

Federer is going to make another nice run at a title but Father Time has slowed him down just a bit. He has not been quite as dominant at Wimbledon as he has been in the past and the odds are too low to choose him as it won’t pay off too well.
Djokovic, Nadal and Cilic are all interesting choices. The odds are all better and each one of them could make a run at the title based on talent and past history. Djokovic has one runner-up finish and a pair of title in recent years and he is going to put up another solid performance.
Even though Federer is the one to beat, he isn’t as dominant as in the prime of his career. Take Djokovic to come away with this year’s Wimbledon championship in tennis gambling.
