Since 2013, the Dodgers have made the playoffs every season. Only once did they not win the National League West in the span. But like the Braves, the Dodgers have only one World Series championship in this era of success. That title was in the 2020 pandemic-shortened season.
Los Angeles finished 100-62 with 90-64-7 over the total. The Dodgers ranked 2nd for run production, 13th for earned run average, and 3rd for bullpen ERA. The expensive Dodgers showed rare value this year with a solid moneyline profit. Los Angeles was even more profitable on the run line.
Philadelphia Phillies +600
The Phillies were upstart National League pennant winners in 2022. This year, they met the higher expectations of the gambling community. Philadelphia finished 90-72 with 73-76-12 under the total. The Phillies ranked 8th for run production, 12th for earned run average, and 6th for bullpen ERA.
The Phillies made a small profit on the moneyline. However, they were one of the biggest bankroll busters on the run line board.
