We are coming off a good week, highlighted by last Tuesday’s big winning night, hitting one same-game parlay and cashing on our three-team parlay. The MLB schedule for Tuesday, August 1 has a full slate of games that will definitely be interesting because the MLB trading deadline is Tuesday. It will be interesting to see how teams react when their front offices either add or trade away players. TBS has the marquee matchup of the night between the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees. MLB Network will be showing the game between the Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners, while ESPN+ has the game between the Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers. We’ll stick with what has been working lately and go with a couple of same game parlays and a three-team parlay. Let’s look at Tuesday, August 1 MLB same game parlay picks.

MLB Same Game Parlay #1
Atlanta Braves -250

It is a high-profile matchup on Tuesday night with the Los Angeles Angels visiting the Atlanta Braves. It should be Patrick Sandoval on the mound for the Angels, while the Braves go with Spencer Strider. Sandoval is supposed to be one of the top pitchers for Los Angeles, but he is just 6-7 on the season and his ERA is 4.13. Strider has been really good for the Braves with an 11-3 mark and a 3.73 ERA. His ERA at home, however, is 4.45. I’ll go with the Braves and the game over the total.

The late game on Tuesday has the Oakland Athletics visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers. It should be Ken Waldichuk against Lance Lynn and if that pitching matchup holds up, I will take the Dodgers and the game over the total. Lynn wasn’t that good for the White Sox and Waldichuk normally struggles for the A’s. I’ll go with Los Angeles and the game over the total.
MLB Three-Game Parlay
Brewers-Nationals Under 9 (-115)
Reds-Cubs Under (-120)
Arizona Diamondbacks -125

The first game in our three-team MLB parlay has the Brewers visiting the Nationals. Freddy Peralta should be going for Milwaukee, while the Nationals send Josiah Gray. This should be a really good pitching matchup and it is between two teams that struggle to score runs. Peralta has an ERA of 4.46, but in two of his last three starts he has looked really good. Gray has an ERA of 3.27 and keeps the Nats in nearly every game. I’ll go under the total with the Brewers and Nationals.
I’ll go with another total for the second game in the parlay and take the Reds and Cubs under. One of the most underrated starters this season has been Ben Lively of the Reds. He is just 4-6 on the season but it is not his fault, as his ERA is 3.76. Steele has been really good for the Cubs with an 11-3 mark and a 2.87 ERA. I’ll go under with the Reds and Cubs.
For the last game in the parlay, I’ll go with the Diamondbacks on the road in Arizona. It should be Zac Gallen for Arizona, while San Francisco sends Alex Wood. Gallen is 11-5 with a 3.36 ERA, while Wood is 5-4 with an ERA of nearly five. I’ll take the Diamondbacks for the last game in the parlay.
