It is a full Major League Baseball schedule on Tuesday with the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves in the featured game on TBS. The Yankees are trying to stay alive in the American League Wild Card race, while the Braves are leading the NL East and the current favorites to win the 2023 World Series. A pair of division leaders face off in Los Angeles on MLB Network and ESPN+, as the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Milwaukee Brewers. We were up and down with the parlays last week hitting on a few, but just missing out on cashing the big three-teamers. The Seattle Mariners visit the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday and it should be Emerson Hancock going for the Mariners, while the Royals send Jordan Lyles. The Mariners got a very outing from Hancock in his first-ever MLB start, as he went five innings and allowed just one run against the Padres. Lyles has struggled all season for the Royals and he comes into this game at 3-13 with an ERA over six. I’ll take the Mariners and the over for the first same-game parlay.

The late game on MLB Network has the Milwaukee Brewers visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers. It should be a good pitching matchup with Adrian Houser going for Milwaukee, while Los Angeles sends Bobby Miller. Houser is 4-3 with a 4.38 ERA for the Brewers, while Miller is 6-2 with a 3.89 ERA. I’ll go with the Dodgers and the game under the total.

The Twins host the Tigers on Tuesday night and it should be a pitching edge for the Twins with Bailey Ober on the mound for Minnesota, while Detroit sends Alex Faedo. It has been a rough go for Faedo who is 2-4 with a 5.80 ERA. Ober has normally been solid for the Twins with a 6-6 record and a 3.40 ERA. This should be a game that the Twins win, so I’ll take Minnesota as the first team in the parlay.
It has been a disappointing season for the Cardinals, but they should have a good series this week against a bad Oakland team. Dakota Hudson will likely get the call for the Cardinals, while the A’s were undecided on their starter as of this writing. It doesn’t really matter to me who pitches in this one, as this is a play against the A’s.
The last team on the parlay will be the Texas Rangers. They can pretty much put a nail in the coffin of the Angels’ playoff chances this week. The Angels went all-in at the trading deadline and kept Ohtani but it hasn’t mattered, as Los Angeles has fallen out of playoff contention. Lucas Giolito was supposed to help the pitching staff, but he hasn’t pitched well. On the other side Jordan Montgomery has been solid all season and his addition in a trade with the Cardinals looks like a good one. I’ll take Texas as the last team in the parlay.
