It is a full Major League Baseball schedule on Tuesday with the Boston Red Sox at the Houston Astros in the featured game on TBS. Both teams are battling for Wild Card positions in the American League. The Astros are also still alive for the AL West Division title, but Houston has not played well of late. MLB Network has the other nationally televised game on Tuesday, as they will be showing the Texas Rangers at the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Pittsburgh Pirates host the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night and the Cardinals still have Adam Wainwright in their starting rotation. He has been a disaster for the Cardinals this year with a 3-8 record and an 8.42 ERA. I guess since St. Louis is out of the race, they figure they can just send out Wainwright every five days in what is likely his final season. The Pirates will probably go with Johan Oviedo and he hasn’t been that great either with a 6-13 record and a 4.55 ERA. This is mainly a play against Wainwright, so it doesn’t really matter who the Pirates throw. I’ll go with the Pirates and the game over the total.

Arizona Diamondbacks -130
Rangers-Diamondbacks Under 8.5 (-105)

The Texas Rangers visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night in a battle of teams trying to make the playoffs. The Rangers will likely go with Jon Gray in this game, while Arizona sends their ace, Zac Gallen to the mound. Gray is 8-6 with a 3.52 ERA, while Gallen is 13-5 with a 3.17 ERA. This should be a good pitching matchup and Gallen has been excellent at home, so I’ll go with Arizona and the game under the total.

The Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night and it will be an interesting game because Noah Syndergaard is expected to pitch for Cleveland against his old team. Syndergaard was awful with the Dodgers but he has been a little better with the Guardians. It should be either Clayton Kershaw or Bobby Miller going for the Dodgers and regardless of which one gets this start, the Dodgers have the edge. I’ll take Los Angeles as the first team in the parlay.
The Milwaukee Brewers host the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday and it should be Bailey Ober going for Minnesota, while Milwaukee sends Wade Miley. I have backed Ober a few times this season and he has let me down, so let’s hope he doesn’t hurt me here. He is 6-6 with a 3.40 ERA, while Miley is 6-3 with a 3.05 ERA. I’ll take the Brewers as the second team in the parlay.
The last team in the parlay will be the red-hot Seattle Mariners in Chicago to play the White Sox. The Mariners should be sending George Kirby while the White Sox go with Mike Clevinger. If this matchup holds, the Mariners have a huge edge. I’ll take Seattle as the final team in the parlay.
