The month of August is winding down and playoff races are heating up. Tuesday’s MLB schedule features a number of key games impacting pennant races, including the Cincinnati Reds at the San Francisco Giants on MLB Network. ESPN+ has the game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Reds, Giants and Diamondbacks are in contention for Wild Card spots, while the Dodgers have all but clinched the National League West. We are coming off a good Friday night with a couple of winners. We’ll look to get this week started right with a couple of same game parlays and a three-team parlay. Let’s look at Tuesday, August 29 MLB same game parlay picks.

MLB Same Game Parlay #1
Baltimore Orioles -192
White Sox-Orioles Over 9 (-105)
$100 to win $197
The first parlay has the Orioles hosting the White Sox with the Orioles a heavy favorite. The White Sox have waived the white towel on the season and there is very little to like about this team. It should be Jesse Scholtens going for the White Sox, while Dean Kremer goes for the Orioles. Scholtens is 1-6 with a 4.15 ERA, while Kremer is 12-5 with a 4.31 ERA. I’ll go with Baltimore and over as the first same-game parlay for Tuesday.
MLB Same Game Parlay #2
Seattle Mariners -238
Athletics-Mariners Under 7.5 (-115)
$100 to win $165
The Mariners have been surging lately and that should continue this week, as they host the rotten A’s. The pitching matchup on Tuesday night has Ken Waldichuk going for the A’s, while the Mariners send George Kirby. Waldichuk has been a little better of late, but he is still 2-7 on the season with a 6.05 ERA. Kirby is 10-8 with a 3.28 ERA. I’ll take the Mariners and the game under the total.
MLB Three-Game Parlay
Kansas City Royals -125
Cincinnati Reds +124
Los Angeles Dodgers -170
$100 to win $540
I don’t think I have backed the Royals all season but they have a good matchup on Tuesday night as they host the Pirates. The Pirates have pretty much rolled over and quit, while the Royals are still playing hard. It was unclear who the Pirates were going to start for this game, while the Royals are sending Cole Ragans. He has looked really good for KC, as he is 5-4 with a 3.66 ERA. I’ll take the Royals as the first team in the parlay.
The Reds visit the Giants in a key game in the NL Wild Card race on Tuesday and it should be Brandon Williamson going for the Reds, while Alex Cobb goes for the Giants. Williamson has looked good for the Reds of late, allowing one run or less in three of his last four starts. Cobb is 6-5 with a 3.74 ERA for the Giants. I’ll take a shot with the road underdog and go with Cincinnati.
For the last team in the parlay, I’ll take the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw at home against the Diamondbacks. Arizona will likely go with Merrill Kelly and although he is pitching well, he did throw a lot of pitches last time out against the Reds. Kershaw at home has been money throughout the years. I’ll take the Dodgers as the last team in the parlay.
