We are coming off a very nice Friday, as both of the same game parlays hit. The MLB schedule for Tuesday, August 8 features two of the top teams in the American League, as the Houston Astros visit the Baltimore Orioles on TBS. MLB Network has the late game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks. It is a critical week for some teams, especially the Los Angeles Angels who went all-in at the MLB trading deadline, hoping to make the playoffs. If the Angels don’t start playing better, they may be out of contention before Mike Trout returns from injury. We’ll stick with what has been working lately and go with a couple of same game parlays and a three-team parlay. Let’s look at Tuesday, August 8 MLB same game parlay picks.

The Red Sox stumbled last week against the Blue Jays but they have a good chance to right the ship this week as they host the pathetic Royals. The pitching matchup on Tuesday should have Brady Singer going for Kansas City, while Boston sends Kutter Crawford. Singer is 7-8 on the season with an ERA just over five, while Crawford is 5-5 with a 3.62 ERA. This should be a good home win for the Red Sox, so I’ll take Boston and the game over the total, as the first same game parlay.

Cleveland Indians -122
Blue Jays-Indians Under 8.5 (-115)
$100 to win $240
The Toronto Blue Jays visit the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday and it should be Yusei Kikuchi going for Toronto, while Cleveland sends Tanner Bibee. The Indians have taken a hit to their starting rotation with Shane Bieber being out and trading Aaron Civale was a mistake. One of the men left standing is Bibee who is 7-2 with a 3.14 ERA. This should be a low scoring game and that suits the Indians just fine. I’ll take Cleveland and the game under the total.

Marlins-Reds Over 10 (-115)
Milwaukee Brewers -225
Giants-Angels Over 8 (-110)

One of the better pitchers to take over this season has been Cincinnati’s Luke Weaver. He is 2-4 with an ERA of nearly seven. Somehow, the Reds win the majority of his starts, but it is not because of his pitching. He matches up in this one against the Marlins who will likely go with Johnny Cueto. It doesn’t matter to me who the Marlins throw, as this play is on the over with Weaver pitching.
The second game has the Milwaukee Brewers hosting the Colorado Rockies. One pitcher that has been trustworthy for the Brewers this season is Wade Miley. He is 6-2 with a 3.01 ERA. The Rockies will probably go with Kyle Freeland, but it doesn’t matter to me who they throw, as I’ll take Miley and the Brewers as the second team in the parlay.
The last game in the parlay has the San Francisco Giants at the Los Angeles Angels. It should be Brandon Webb going for the Giants, while the Angels send Lucas Giolito. Webb has been pretty good for the Giants, but he is not as good away from home with a 4-5 record and an ERA of nearly five. Giolito has not pitched well at all for the Angels since the trade and I don’t know that it changes here. I’ll go over with the Giants and Angels.
