It is getaway day in Major League Baseball on Wednesday, so that means we have some matinees on the schedule. MLB Network has the matinee between the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Mets, while ESPN+ is showing the game between the Tampa Bay Rays and San Francisco Giants. ESPN+ also has the night game between the Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals. MLB Network will also be showing the game between the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves and the game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Los Angeles Angels visit the Texas Rangers on Wednesday and the Angels are undecided, while Texas sends Jon Gray. It doesn’t really matter to me who the Angels throw, as there is no one in their starting rotation that scares me. Gray is 8-5 with a 3.65 ERA for the Rangers. This could easily be the series that puts the Angels completely out of the playoff race, as Texas won big on Monday night. I’ll go with Texas and the game over the total.

It is a matchup of division leaders on Wednesday night, as the Milwaukee Brewers visit the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Brewers changed things around and decided to send Wade Miley on Wednesday instead of Tuesday, so we’ll once again take the Dodgers and the game under. Miley is 6-2 with a 2.90 ERA this season for Milwaukee. The Dodgers are expected to send Clayton Kershaw and he is 10-4 with a 2.51 ERA. I’ll take Los Angeles and the game under the total.

The Detroit Tigers visit the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday and it should be Reese Olson against Kenta Maeda. Olson is 2-5 on the season with a 4.45 ERA, while Maeda is 3-7 with a 3.97 ERA. The Twins have the edge on the mound and they should get this home win, so I’ll take Minnesota as the first team in the parlay.
The Cincinnati Reds host the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday and the Reds have a big pitching edge. They are sending Andrew Abbot, while the Guardians go with Noah Syndergaard. Abbott is 7-3 with a 2.95 ERA, while Syndergaard is 2-5 with a 6.35 ERA. I’ll go with the Reds as the second team in the parlay.
For the last team in the parlay, I’ll look to the Mariners who are in Kansas City to face the Royals. The Mariners should be sending Luis Castillo, while the Royals go with Alec Marsh. Castillo is just 8-7 on the season but his ERA is just 3.14, while Marsh has really struggled with an 0-6 record and a 6.27 ERA. I’ll take the Mariners as the last team in the three-team parlay.
