The Milwaukee Brewers will offer plenty of value as a quality team in good form and with a road club discount. The St. Louis Cardinals have been unable to sustain success after flirting with contention last month. The Redbirds dropped six of their most recent ten games and offers no value with the inflated home team price. St. Louis is a disturbing 25-31 against teams with a winning record. Milwaukee boasts the second-best bullpen in MLB. The Cardinals rank 23rd in MLB run production and 20th for staff earned run average.
As mentioned earlier, the Pittsburgh Pirates are in poor form as they hit the road to face the Texas Rangers. The defending World Series champion Rangers have played with a celebration hangover all year, but it will not be as expensive as they would otherwise have been. Pittsburgh is 27-38 against teams with a winning record. The Pirates bullpen ranks a dreadful 24th in MLB.
