MLB Network and ESPN+ have the national television coverage for Wednesday’s games with MLB Network televising four games, while ESPN+ has two contests. The action gets underway early on Wednesday, as the Miami Marlins visit the Cincinnati Reds in a matinee on MLB Network. The Colorado Rockies visit the Milwaukee Brewers in another matinee on MLB Network. The evening game on the network has the Chicago Cubs at the New York Mets, while the late game is the San Francisco Giants at the Los Angeles Angels with Shoehi Ohtani expected to be on the mound for the Angels. ESPN+ is also showing the Marlins and Reds and the game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Tampa Bay Rays. We have had some decent success with the parlays of late, and we’ll look to keep it going on Wednesday with two same game parlays and a three-team parlay. The Chicago Cubs visit the New York Mets on Wednesday and it should be Kyle Hendricks on the mound for Chicago, while the Mets go with David Peterson. It has become obvious to everyone that the Mets have thrown in the towel on this season so anytime you go against them you have a decent chance to win. The Cubs are very much in the NL Central race and every win is critical. Hendricks is 4-6 with a 4.09 ERA, while Peterson has been awful, with a 3-7 mark and a 5.65 ERA. I’ll go with the Cubs and the game over the total.

The Colorado Rockies visit the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday and it should be Chris Flexen going for Colorado, while Milwaukee sends Adrian Houser. It has not been a good season for Flexen who was terrible with Seattle. He has had a couple of starts for Colorado and neither was that good. He was very poor against Oakland and gave up six runs in 3.2 innings. He was better last time out against the Cardinals but also fortunate, as he gave up 10 hits in five innings and somehow only allowed three runs. Houser is 4-3 on the season with a 4.19 ERA for the Brewers. I’ll go with Milwaukee and the game over the total.

Minnesota Twins -145

The Twins are in Detroit to play the Tigers on Wednesday and it should be Bailey Ober on the mound for Minnesota. Detroit was uncertain of their starter as of hits writing, but it doesn’t matter to me who they send. Ober is 6-5 with a 3.21 ERA for Minnesota. I’ll take the Twins as the first team in the parlay.
The Braves will be road favorites in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Max Fried should be getting the ball for Atlanta and he was excellent in his first game back off the injured list. He is 3-1 on the season with a 1.69 ERA. Quinn Priester gets the ball for Pittsburgh and he is 2-1 with an 8.69 ERA. I’ll take the Braves in this one.
The last team on the parlay is Boston, as they host the Royals on Wednesday. It should be Jordan Lyles for KC and Boston will probably send James Paxton. Regardless of who the Red Sox throw, I’ll take Boston, as Lyles is 3-12 with a 6.24 ERA this season.
