It is getaway day in Major League Baseball on Wednesday with six matinees, including the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Baltimore Orioles on MLB Network and the Cleveland Indians at the Pittsburgh Pirates on ESPN+. MLB Network also will be showing the game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Texas Rangers and the game between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels. The Red Sox visit the A’s on Wednesday afternoon and it should be Brayan Bello going for Boston, while Oakland sends Ken Waldichuk. I think you could go against Waldichuk on a regular basis and do just fine and we know that Boston scores a lot of runs. Bello has pitched well for the Red Sox this season, as he is 7-5 with a 3.14 ERA, while Waldichuk is 2-6 with a 6.66 ERA. Regardless of who Boston goes with on the mound, I’ll take Boston, as this should be a good spot for the Red Sox to roll. I will take Boston and the game over the total.

Cincinnati Reds +110
Giants-Reds Over 11 (-110)
$100 to win $301
The Reds host the Giants on Wednesday and the Giants seem likely to go with Ross Stripling while the Reds are sending Graham Ashcraft. I am not sold on Stripling as a starter, as he simply doesn’t provide a lot of innings. Ashcraft doesn’t have great overall numbers as he is 4-7 with a 5.95 ERA but if you look closer, he has pitched well of late, going at least six innings in each of his last three starts and allowing just one run in each. I think the Reds will get to Stripling and make this a bullpen game and the Giants have been scoring a lot of runs of late so they should get their share. I’ll go with the Reds and the game over the total.

Seattle Mariners -155
Twins-Mariners Under 7 (-105)
$100 to win $221
The Mariners have not been very good to us in parlays this season, but we’ll go back to the well and give it another shot on Wednesday with a same game parlay. The probable pitching matchup has Kenta Maeda going for Minnesota, while Seattle sends Luis Castillo. Maeda is 2-5 on the season with a 5.50 ERA, but he has been much better on the road with a 1-3 mark and a 3.15 ERA. Castillo is 6-7 with a 2.96 ERA. Castillo has pitched better at home but it seems he has one bad inning that costs his team the game. If he can avoid that one big inning the Mariners should have a good chance to win this one. Neither team is scoring a lot of runs so this should be a low scoring game. I’ll go with the Mariners and the game under the total.
