We are less than a week away from the All-Star game as we look to pick up some MLB parlay winners before the break. MLB Network has the bulk of the national television coverage on Wednesday, as they have three games. The action begins with a matinee in Houston, as the Houston Astros host the Colorado Rockies. The evening game has the Texas Rangers at the Boston Red Sox, while the late game has the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Los Angeles Dodgers. ESPN+ also has the game between the Astros and Rockies. We’ll go with one three-team parlay on sides and a two-team parlay on totals. Let’s look at Wednesday, July 5 MLB parlay picks.

Houston Astros
The Houston Astros host the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday and the Astros are set to go with J.P. France as their starter. We thought we were getting France on Tuesday, but the Astros changed things up and pushed him to Wednesday instead. We’ll take him here against the Rockies Chase Anderson who is 0-3 with an ERA of nearly seven. This should be a good win to start off the three team parlay with the Astros.
Detroit Tigers
Eduardo Rodriguez comes off the injured list on Wednesday and gets the start for the Detroit Tigers against the Oakland Athletics. The one minor league rehab start for Rodriguez went well and in case you have forgotten, Rodriguez was rolling before getting hurt, as he was 4-4 with an ERA barely above two. Hogan Harris likely gets the call for the A’s and his ERA for the season is over five, but it doesn’t matter to me who the A’s throw. I’ll take the Tigers as the second team in the parlay.
Los Angeles Dodgers
For the last team in the parlay, I’ll take the Dodgers at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates are expected to throw Osvaldo Bido who is 0-1 with a 4.74 ERA, while the Dodgers go with Bobby Miller who is 4-1 with a 4.23 ERA. The Dodgers have been a good home team this season and I expect them to pick up another win on Wednesday night. I’ll take Los Angeles as the last team in the parlay.
MLB Totals Parlay
Blue Jays-White Sox Over 8.5 (-120)
Cubs-Brewers Under 8.5 (-110)
$100 to win $250
Blue Jays-White Sox Over
The Toronto Blue Jays visit the Chicago White Sox and it should be Jose Berrios going for Toronto, while Chicago sends Lance Lynn. Berrios is 8-6 with a 3.74 ERA while Lynn is 5-8 with a 6.47 ERA. This has all of the looks of a game where both starters struggle to get deep into the game, so I will take the game over as the first game in the totals parlay.
Cubs-Brewers Under
It is an interesting pitching matchup in Milwaukee on Wednesday with Justin Steele going for the Cubs, while the Brewers send Adrian Houser. There is a lot to like about both of these starters this season. Steele comes into this game with a record of 9-2 and an ERA of 2.43, while Houser is 3-2 with a 3.88 ERA. This should be a low scoring game, so we’ll take the under as the second game in the totals parlay.
