  • BookMaker.eu If you were to ask any West Coast college football expert they would likely tell you the USC-UCLA rivalry is the fiercest in the game. Those folks may be biased in their assumptions. But they also may be correct. Not only have the schools battled for supremacy in the Pac-12, -10 and -8 conference since the late 1920s, the campuses are located just 12 miles apart in the heart of Los Angeles. The Bruins suffered their first loss in four games to their cross-town rival under coach Jim Mora last sea...

  • BookMaker.eu The emergence of the Oklahoma State Cowboys in recent years has turned their match-up with the Oklahoma Sooners into something of national importance rather than just another game in the Bedlam rivalry. Oklahoma has an overwhelming 85-18-7 lead in the series, but Oklahoma State has been much more competitive as of late and last year’s game was the de facto conference title game. Will Oklahoma emerge victorious again this season or will Oklahoma State be able to re-capture the magic that lifted the Cowboys over the Sooners in Norman two years ago?...

  • BookMaker.eu The rivalry between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans has lost a bit of its luster. In what was once unimaginable, over the last six seasons four of the meetings between these storied programs have seen both teams unranked coming into the game. This season both teams have lofty aspirations and this game could once again take on great meaning....

  • BookMaker.eu The Ole Miss Rebels have done what few teams have in the Nick Saban era, beaten the Alabama Crimson Tide twice. Not only that, but Ole Miss has been the only team in the SEC to knock off Alabama in each of the last two seasons. This season, the Rebels will attempt to do what no team has been able to do yet, beat Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide three years in a row....

  • BookMaker.eu There aren't many games in the world quite like the Iron Bowl. Whether one or both of these teams are involved in the National Championship race in November or not, this game is still one of the most hotly anticipated of the season. The SEC West title very well could be on the line in Tuscaloosa this year, and generally speaking, the team which wins this division will ultimately be one game away from the College Football Playoff.Don't miss the action from Bryant Denny Stadium on Saturday, November 26, 2016....

  • BookMaker.eu Prior to all the nastiness that surfaced in Waco this summer regarding the Bears football program, the matchup between Baylor and TCU on Nov. 5 had serious Big 12 implications. With the firing of coach Art Briles, the defection of numerous top-level talents and the black cloud still hanging over the Baylor program, we just don’t know what they have. While Baylor turned to former Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe to stabilize the program, TCU keeps on rolling with Gary Patterson, who recently sign...

  • BookMaker.eu This matchup was THE game of the year for Notre Dame last year. With entry into the College Football Playoff one win away, the Irish couldn’t finish, losing 38-36 to the Cardinal on The Farm and settling for a Fiesta Bowl invitation. The 2016 meeting between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Stanford Cardinal will come at a less critical time on the schedule. The teams will play in Week 7 on Saturday, October 15, at Notre Dame Stadium, but the outcome will have a big impact for a pair of tea...

  • BookMaker.eu There have been some crazy moments in this series that started before the turn of the century – the 20th century that is. Since Michigan and Michigan State first competed on the gridiron in 1898, there have been 108 matchups between the schools. That’s plenty of time for wackiness to occur. But even the old-timers who have been around were in disbelief with the ending. The Spartans were handed Paul Bunyan, winning the prize for the seventh time in eight years. Sparty will attempt to hold on to the wooden trophy when they host the Wolverines on Saturday, Oct. 29....

  • BookMaker.eu One of the premier out-of-conference match-ups will happen early in the season between two teams that are the favorites to win their conferences. The Ohio State Buckeyes are slight favorites to win the Big Ten despite losing most of their starters from last season, while the Oklahoma Sooners are massive favorites to win the Big 12. These two teams have met only twice before with each team winning one game....

  • BookMaker.eu The Red River Shootout is a staple on the second Saturday of October and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that the Oklahoma Sooners are vulnerable in this game if they are highly ranked. The Texas Longhorns knocked them off in two of the last three seasons despite being unranked and were the only team to defeat Oklahoma in the regular season in 2015....

  • BookMaker.eu BookMaker is the only place to bet on college football this season. There are some games that have already been designated as Games of the Year due to the teams involved and the importance of the games. The game between the Michigan State Spartans and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Notre Dame Stadium with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NBC....

  • BookMaker.eu Mizzou’s 2015 campaign was frustrating and memorable. The offense bottomed out, the team announced a brief boycott, and 15-year head coach Gary Pinkel retired to fight lymphoma. With former defensive coordinator Barry Odom taking over, Mizzou is hoping for a quieter, more successful 2016....

  • BookMaker.eu USC is one of college football’s most intriguing teams to watch in 2016. Interim-turned-permanent coach Clay Helton has a brutal schedule to deal with in his first full year. The Trojans open against defending national champion Alabama, play at Stanford, Utah, Washington and UCLA and match up against Notre Dame, Oregon State and Arizona State at home....

  • BookMaker.eu Was 2015 a fluke for the Cougars? The upcoming season for coach Mike Leach and his crew is all about consistency and sustainability. True, going 9-4 last season was huge, but Washington State won’t sneak up on anyone this year and still has to get through the Pac-12 North, which should be one of the toughest divisions in the nation this year. Matching last year’s win total would be outstanding, but even going 8-5, would be another important building block....

  • BookMaker.eu The 2016 season is setting up as a make or break year for coach Les Miles and his staff. The Mad Hatter doesn’t have a contract extension, leaving many to believe LSU’s athletic director is waiting to see how the Tigers fair on the field before making any kind of long-term commitment. For the first time since 2011, though, the early exit of talent was minimal in Baton Rouge, meaning Miles could have the last laugh....

  • BookMaker.eu Florida was one of college football’s biggest surprises last season. The Gators finished 10-4 and claimed the SEC East title under first-year coach Jim McElwain, but it wasn’t easy. The offense struggled after the suspension of quarterback Will Grier in the second half. Transfer Luke Del Rio is slated to replace Treon Harris under center, but question marks remain on the offensive line and in the receiving corps....

  • BookMaker.eu After 11 years, the Bronco Mendenhall era is over in Provo. In comes first-time head coach Kalani Sitake to take over at his alma mater. He wasn’t a flashy hire to folks that cover college football nationally, but within the walls of BYU, the Cougars feel like they have their man. And he inherits a program that isn’t broken. BYU has won eight games or more in nine of the last 10 seasons, but the new coach will be tested with one of the tougher schedules the school has ever faced....

  • BookMaker.eu Boise State has had more success than any other school that started this century in a non-power conference not named TCU. The Broncos have dominated conference foes in the WAC and the Mountain West, at one point having a 65 game home winning streak and a 47 game home winning streak against conference opponents. However, last season saw something previously unthinkable for the Broncos, three conference losses and a season that didn’t have a conference title game appearance. Can Boise State bounce back and again assume its status as one of the best Group of Five schools in college football?...

  • BookMaker.eu Utah coach Kyle Whittingham considers a 2015 Pac-12 South co-championship both an achievement for the program and a missed opportunity. The Utes regret November losses to Arizona and UCLA that kept them from overtaking USC in the standings and playing in their first conference championship game. But they’ve advanced to a point where they’re in the conversation among the South’s upper crust....

  • BookMaker.eu The Ducks sure missed Marcus Mariota, Hroniss Grasu and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu last season more than they even imagined. Oregon’s streak of seven consecutive double-digit win seasons ended. However, the Ducks weren’t too far off their usual tally, as they finished 9-4 and suffered three of the four losses by a touchdown or less. The Ducks need to recover from their monumental collapse in the Alamo Bowl, blowing a 31-0 lead and losing 47-41 in overtime....

  • BookMaker.eu Head coach Brian Kelly’s 2016 squad doesn’t appear to be as good as last season’s 10-win unit, but there are just enough good parts to expect another rock-solid year from the Irish. Last year’s defense wasn’t a killer and the offense wasn’t always dominant, but both sides figured out how to win games. When your three losses are at Clemson, at Stanford and in a bowl game against Ohio State, you’ve done something right....

  • BookMaker.eu The Wildcats were in position to play in the postseason in each of the last two years before late-season collapses left them at 5-7 both times, just a victory shy of bowl eligibility. As coach Mark Stoops enters his fourth season, he and his rebuilt coaching staff are looking for answers as to how they can push past the five-win barrier and reach bowl eligibility for the first time....

  • BookMaker.eu Coach Bret Bielema built things up nicely last season in Fayetteville, and though the Razorbacks were tough to handle for a lot of teams, they didn't have the kind of campaign they had hoped for. This year, it's going to be much tougher to do damage in the league, especially coming out of a loaded SEC West. But Bielema will do enough to get his team to a bowl game and set up another quality couple of seasons. But this year won't be what the Arkansas faithful want....

  • BookMaker.eu As usual, offense will again carry the load for the Wildcats, who return seven starters on that side of the football in 2016. Close attention will be paid to two players in particular, quarterback Anu Solomon and running back Nick Wilson, who both missed significant time last season. Their return could make the Wildcats unstoppable offensively. Perhaps an underachieving 2015 will make for an even bigger chip in 2016....

  • BookMaker.eu After four consecutive losing seasons, two with Willie Taggart at the controls, the Bulls rose up and began playing to their potential in 2015. USF shook off a slow start to finish the regular season with seven wins in eight games, while darn near leapfrogging Temple in the AAC East. The campaign ended on a sour note with a bowl loss to Western Kentucky, but the hot finish could wind up being the turning point this program was desperately seeking....
