In this historic time of tumult and chaos the one thing that has been steady is the odds on the 2020 Presidential election. Joe Biden has gone up about a dime from last week as the media barrage against Trump takes its toll. The United States “news” media has become nothing more than a publicity department against Trump and the Republicans. Violence in cities such as Portland gets covered up and “reported” as “peaceful protests.” When Trump sent in the feds to Democrat run war zone cities he is labeled as a “fascist.” The average voter turning on the “news” is getting spin that is not accurate nor labeled as such. As a result, the anti-Trump hate and hype has taken on a life of its own.
Trump Finally Sends in the Feds as Media Screams
For two months and running the city of Portland, Oregon has been taken over by the violent left. ANTIFA and other hard left anarchist groups have tried to destroy federal property and buildings. Portland mayor Ted Wheeler, a Democrat who for years has played footsie with the radical left and ANTIFA, has been rendered useless in stopping the carnage. President Trump finally sent in federal officials, many in unmarked vehicles, to put a stop to the insanity. The “news” media railed about how the feds were not identifying themselves when making arrests. Not one word was said about the innocent loss of property and life in Portland by such “journalists.” Trump later issued orders for a federal crackdown in Seattle and Chicago.
The Ultimate Irony
Recall that all of this civil unrest began due to the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Black Lives Matter movement was quickly hijacked by the violent left, overwhelmingly white, and has rioted over issues that had nothing to do with the innocent loss of black lives. In Democrat dominated cities such as New York the police have suffered massive budget cuts. In all of these cities the police have been ordered to stand down. Many 911 calls have gone unanswered. And the result? Crime and murder rates have skyrocketed with African American citizens paying the most painful price. In fact, African American citizens have overwhelmingly said that they DO NOT want the police defunded. Democrat leaders, mostly white, have ignored the preference of these innocent victims.
Trump Finds Voice
For several weeks President Trump was floundering with bizarre tweets and mixed messages. For the last couple of weeks, he has found his voice which will be law and order themes against the soft on crime left. And the Democrat Party has made it easy for Trump. Starting with Joe Biden himself there has been utter silence at the violence taking place in Democrat strongholds of New York, Chicago, Portland, and Seattle. This has given Trump an opening to run as the last man standing between violent crime and the rest of the country. African Americans are also questioning their near 90-percent loyalty to the Democrats for over five decades. Law and Order is coming front and center to the campaign.
