While many soccer clubs across Europe were cursing their luck when the Europa League draw was announced, the two English clubs left in the competition certainly weren’t. Chelsea and Arsenal both received dream draws, and they are massive favorites to advance to the Europa League Round of 16. Other heavyweights like Inter Milan and Napoli also received great draws, and they are expected to advance. However, weird things happen in the Europa League as many of the more established clubs feel the lingering disappointment of not making it to the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
The Europa League is back in action on Valentine’s Day with 15 matches on February 14, 2019. That gives you multiple chances to make some money before taking your significant other out on the town, and BookMaker is the place to bet it all.

Arsenal -2000
BATE Borisov +1000
Arsenal came close to winning the Europa League in their first appearance in the competition in nearly two decades last season. They had no problem topping their group and then cruised to wins over Ostersund, AC Milan, and CSKA Moscow before running into eventual champions Atletico Madrid in the semifinals. Although the Gunners fought hard, they came up short, and they are again one of the favorites to win it this season.
They had little trouble finishing at the top of their group once again, and they have looked more lively under manager Unai Emery then they did under Arsene Wenger. Their opponents, BATE Borisov, were put in an easy group but grabbed the wins they needed over MOL Vidi and PAOK to make it into the next round. The Belarussian club has never made it further than the Round of 32 though, and it’s unlikely that they do now.
Chelsea -5000
Malmo +2500
The last time Chelsea were in the Europa League, they ended up winning the whole thing. The year after the Blues had won the Champions League, they were stunned in the Champions League Group Stage and ended up being sent to the Europa League. There, they outclassed four straight opponents before knocking off Benfica in the final, and they just might be the overall favorite to win it all.
Chelsea will be eager to get on the field following a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday. Fortunately, they will be facing a Malmo team they should be able to dominate. Although Malmo were able to nip Besiktas for a spot in the knockout rounds, this is a club that doesn’t get to play much considering the Swedish league is out of season.
Inter Milan -1600
Rapid Vienna +800
It was a bitter pill for Inter Milan to swallow when the club suffered an early exit in the Champions League. The Italians controlled their fate after beating Tottenham and drawing Barcelona going into the last matchday, and a win over winless PSV Eindhoven would have sent them through. Of course, Inter ended up settling for a heartbreaking 1-1 draw against the Dutch club, and that sent them here.
They shouldn’t receive much of a test from Rapid Vienna, and they should probably be bigger favorites than this. Rapid Vienna have already lost seven of their 18 matches in league play this season, and they were blasted on the road by both Villarreal and Rangers.
Napoli -2000
Zurich +1000
Speaking of clubs that suffered heartbreaking defeats, Napoli were the odd club out in the group of death. They fought both Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool tooth and nail, but a loss to Liverpool in Anfield in their last group stage game sent them to the Europa League.
UEFA Europa League Odds
If Chelsea aren’t the favorite to win the Europa League, Napoli have to be. They have been very impressive in both league and international play, and they shouldn’t be tested by Zurich.
