Borralho said this to sherdog.com about his upcoming fight against Cannonier, “The best advice that Sean gave me is, you need to have a good corner that screams a lot. Because in their fight, he punched a lot, Strickland, but other (Cannonier’s) punches were slippery and his corner was always screaming like, ‘Good one, good one.’ So maybe it got the judges the wrong way. So I’m just going to make sure I’m going to have a good corner and just go there, pick my shots and keep my distance, do my game. I know I’m skilled enough to beat him. So I’m just going to go there and do what I do best, win fights.”
Borralho said also said this to sports.yahoo.com, “He's very experienced guy, he's very consistent. He can take the fight where he wants all the time; he can explode when he wants. I think he's a very tricky guy and very explosive, very strong. I think it's going to be an awesome fight to watch.”

UFC Picks
Does Cannonier still have what it takes to win a big fight? He is now 40 years old and coming off a loss to Nassourdine in June. He is 7-3 in his last 10 fights including a win over Sean Strickland, so perhaps he should not be underestimated. Borralho has done nothing but win in the UFC and had no trouble at all last time out as he stopped Paul Craig. UFC oddsmakers don’t believe Borralho is going to have much trouble in this fight, as Borralho is listed as more than a 2-1 favorite in UFC betting odds.
I rarely lay prices of more than 2-1 in UFC odds unless I am reasonably sure of a win. Cannonier is a quality fighter and I don’t think we know yet just how good Borralho is. I’ll pass on a side. I think we’ll get a lot of back and forth early in this fight as each fighter settles in, so I will go over the rounds total.
