The total has seen very little line movement, although it would not be a surprise to see the number drop to 39.5 considering how much these two offenses are struggling.

The Broncos are really banged up entering this game. Not only are they missing Lock, they had to put Jurrell Casey on IR. They also have a number of players who are questionable for Thursday. They are Jeremiah Attaochu, Elijah Wilkinson, Shelby Harris, Bryce Callahan, Kareem Jackson, Davontae Harris and Phillip Lindsay.
The question for the Broncos is at quarterback and head coach Vic Fangio has not said whether it will be Driskel or Rypien. The Broncos brought in Blake Bortles, but Fangio said that Bortles is probably not ready to go on a short week. "Yes, Blake was here two days last week and to expect him to be able to play this week on a short week where practice will be very limited I think would be unrealistic," Fangio said to the media.
The Jets are not in much better shape when it comes to injuries. They are hoping that Jamison Crowder will return on Thursday, but they are still listing him as questionable. Breshad Perriman has already been ruled out for Thursday. The team is also listing Jordan Jenkins, Mekhi Becton, Ashtyn Davis, George Fant and Quincy Wilson as questionable.
Matchup to Watch
The matchup to watch in in this one is Sam Darnold going against the Denver defense. The Jets have been pathetic on offense with Adam Gase as head coach and Gase was supposed to be an offensive guru. Darnold looks lost in the offense and it doesn’t help that the Jets are missing their top receivers. If the Jets are to get their first win then Darnold has to make some plays against a Denver defense that is good, but not great.
