Fantasy Football Week 2 Picks - NFL Online Spreads

It is Week 2 of the NFL regular season and some excellent matchups are on tap, including the New England Patriots at the Jacksonville Jaguars. We did well with some of our fantasy football rankings in Week 1, including Drew Brees as our top ranked quarterback and the Baltimore defense as our top ranked defense. What will the rankings look like for Week 2 and who could surprise? Let’s look at Week 2 Fantasy Football rankings.

Week 2 Quarterback Rankings

1. Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers, at Buffalo Bills

2. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints, vs. Cleveland Browns

3. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears

4. Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco vs. Detroit Lions

5. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings, at Green Bay Packers

6. Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

7. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

8. Alex Smith, Washington Redskins vs. Indianapolis Colts

9. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers, vs. Minnesota Vikings

10. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

Did you see what Joe Flacco did last week to the Bills? Rivers should have a huge day against the Buffalo defense. You may notice I don’t have Tom Brady on the list, but that is because the Patriots face the Jaguars and Jacksonville’s defense is excellent.

Week 2 Running Back Rankings

1. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints vs. Cleveland Browns

2. Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals

3. Melvin Gordon, Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills

4. Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks

5. David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

6. Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

7. Saquon Barkley, New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

8. James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

9. Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

10. Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

It is time to start recognizing that Kamara is a great talent and he is worthy of the No. 1 ranking. He was great last week for the Saints in a loss to the Bucs and he should have a field day against the Browns on Sunday.

Week 2 Wide Receiver Ranks

1. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

5. Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints vs. Cleveland Browns

8. Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys

3. Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

2. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers, vs. Kansas City Chiefs

4. DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

7. Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills

6. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers

9. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

10. Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

I really like the Pittsburgh players this week against a Kansas City defense that isn’t that good. I think Brown and Smith-Schuster could both finish as top five receivers this week.

Week 2 Tight End Rankings

1. Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars

3. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

4. Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins vs. Indianapolis Colts

5. Trey Burton, Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks

6. Evan Engram, New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

7. Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins

8. Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

9. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers vs. Detroit Lions

10. Will Dissly, Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears

The tight end rankings top to bottom look a lot different this week. Yes, we still have Ertz, Gronk and Kelce up top, but Burton, Doyle, Kittle and Dissly are in the rankings this week.

Week 2 Defense Rankings

1. Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills

2. Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals

3. Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

4. Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals

5. Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

6. Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

7. Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots

8. Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks

9. Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts

10. Washington Redskins vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Chargers are in the top spot this week, as they get to go against a terrible Buffalo offense. The Jaguars drop a little bit, as they have to face Brady and the Patriots.

Week 2 Kicker Rankings

1. Greg Zuerlein, Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals

2. Jake Elliott, Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

3. Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals

4. Stephen Gostkowski, New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars

5. Wil Lutz, New Orleans Saints vs. Cleveland Browns

6. Matt Prater, Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers

7. Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers

8. Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

9. Adam Vinatieri, Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins

10. Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings

NFL Betting Odds

I won’t be doing much kicker commentary, as kicker scoring is extremely volatile, but I like Zuerlein in the top spot this week, as the Rams should score a lot of points against Arizona.
