However, there are some brash personalities within the group and some early losses could result in some trying times, so it’s important Jacksonville gets off to a hot start.

The retirement of Luck has given Jacksonville a golden opportunity to win the AFC South this season. The Texans have a better quarterback and seem to be the better team overall, but their schedule is really tough. Foles doesn’t need to be great in order for this team to be successful in 2019, but he does have to prove to be a capable quarterback.
It was surprising to see the Jaguars take such a big step back a year ago, but most of the key pieces are still in place from the playoff team. If the passing game improves, Jacksonville should be back in the postseason hunt, and these are good odds to jump on before the year begins.
