After watching the playoff field battle it out over Super Wild Card Weekend, the NFL’s two best teams hit the gridiron as the biggest favorites on the Divisional Round betting board. The San Francisco 49ers have a big grin after their Super Bowl odds shrunk following the early departures of their biggest threats in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers upset second-seed Dallas earning a trip to the Bay Area for a Saturday showdown with the Niners in the only Divisional Round contest that isn’t a regular season rematch. The Niners opened as a 10-point favorite with the number falling 9.5 by midweek. The AFC’s top-seed Baltimore Ravens are laying 9-points for their matchup with the Houston Texans. Combined when favored by at least 9-points at crypto sportsbooks the Ravens and Niners were 8-0 SU and 5-3 ATS.
Oh, let’s not forget there are two other games this weekend to determine who plays for a trip to Vegas in early February. The Detroit Lions snapped an eight-game playoff losing streak with a narrow win over the Rams and hit the board as a 6-point home favorite against Tampa Bay. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs meet in the postseason for the third time in four years with the Bills laying 2.5-points to the defending Super Bowl champions.

Divisional Round NFL Parlay Card Wagers
Like a lot of folks I was surprised by Green Bay’s upset win over Dallas. Backing the Boys was my only loss on my three-team NFL parlay over Wild Card Weekend preventing me from a nice payout. The Eagles limped to the finish line which is why I faded them. They then collapsed in the playoffs losing 32-9 making a winner of Bucs backers. Unfortunately as part of my parlay it still owned a losing ticket. I also backed Buffalo -10 in their matchup with the Steelers. Buffalo built a 21-0 first half lead then held on getting a tremendous touchdown from Khalil Shakir midway through the fourth quarter to cover the line.
Texans / Ravens UNDER 43
Packers / 49ers UNDER 50.5
Lions -6
Bills -2.5
$100 bet to win $1221
With the season winding down it’s time to go all out on the NFL parlay’s so I’m doing a four-teams with a bet on each game. The Ravens and Nines are the best boasting top units both on offense and defense. However, there is a different mentality around playoff time and Houston is playing with more confidence and a season QB in C.J. Stroud than what we saw in Week 1 when Baltimore won 25-9. The top seeds rested starters in Week 17 and will have had three weeks off by the time their games kickoff meaning rust could play a part. That’s why I’m backing the UNDER in both games. That and their defenses are relentless. I don’t see Stroud and Jordan Love having as much success as they did in the Wild Card Round, and besides the Packers got a lot of help from Dallas to score 48 points.
Ending a number of dubious streaks the Lions are on a roll and seem like a team of destiny. They ended years of frustration winning a division title, 12 games and a playoff contest. They’ve never played in a Super Bowl can move a step closer to that goal with a win. Jared Goff and the offense have been deadly and Tampa faces a team with the goal of advancing rather than last week’s opponent htat had already given up. In Week 6 Detroit smothered Baker Mayfield earning a 20-6 road win. With this game in front of their rabid fans the Lions move on with a cover.
Twice in the last three seasons the Bills were eliminated by Kansas City, including in that memorable contest two years ago when the teams combined for three TDs and a field in the final two minutes of regulation. The difference this time is that the game is in Buffalo and the Bills are the hottest team winning six straight and seven of their last eight while going 6-2 ATS. It feels like I have to lay the points and take the Bills.
