Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has always backed Jason Garrett even when he shouldn’t have. Now, it looks like the relationship is becoming strained. Jones publicly questioned one of Garrett’s moves in the Boys loss to Houston on Sunday night, something he’s rarely done. With Dallas floundering could the end be near for Garrett? At this point in the season Garrett and Denver’s Vance Joseph are tops on the list of who gets fired first. The Jacksonville Jaguars could make things easier for Jones with a win over the Cowboys in Week 6 in what figures to be a low-scoring game according to the NFL betting lines.

All that talk about the Jags being a feared team in the AFC can be put to rest for the time being. The Jags were humbled by the best team in the conference last week, taking a 30-14 pounding from the Chiefs. And they got the 2016 Blake Bortles in the process, which makes us believe the Jags won’t win anything as long as Bortles is still quarterbacking the club. Two losses in three games with suspect play from Bortles in the process has to be concerning for the Jags.
And on top of that, the injuries are piling up. The Jags are already without Leonard Fournette as he continues to mend from a hamstring issue and they lost backup Corey Grant for the season in the Chiefs game. As he was last week, T.J. Yeldon is going to be the featured back for the foreseeable future. Yeldon didn’t get a lot of rush attempts with the Jags playing from behind, carrying just 10 times for 53 yards.
Yeldon was the team’s leading receiver with eight receptions for 69 yards and his 122 scrimmage yards are the most this season for a Jags running back. Yeldon has reached 100 yards from scrimmage in each of the last two games and will get plenty of touches once again, making him a good bet on a prop bet at BookMaker.eu.

We’ve seen Bortles go off against the Patriots and he had a magnificent outing against the Jets. Not surprisingly, the Jags won both those games. Bortles threw for a career-best 430 yards last week, but it took him 61 attempts and he also chucked four interceptions. The Jags aren’t built to come from behind and if they trail and need Bortles to get them back into the game, there’s a good chance he coughs the ball up.
