Two teams that were expected to battle it out for the NFC North title find themselves looking up to the Bears with the loser of the Week 12 Sunday Night Football matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings finding themselves with even more work to do as the season winds down. If the Packers are to come out victorious, they’ll have to do something they have yet to do this season – win a game on the road. Green Bay is 0-5 SU and 1-3-1 ATS away from Lambeau Field and the Pack is getting 3-points on the early NFL betting line.
Watch this Week 12 regular season matchup live on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 8:20 p.m. ET at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Aaron Rodgers returns to the scene of the crime, and while he might have revenge on his mind, there are more important things to consider. We all know the story, but it’s worth repeating as Rodgers and the Pack visit Minnesota for the first time since that fateful day in October 2017. With Green Bay at 4-1 and Rodgers off to a scintillating start, the Week 6 matchup had all the makings of a classic. Instead, a broken collarbone sent Rodgers to the injured reserve and including that game the Pack went 3-8 the rest of the year and missed the playoffs for the first time in nine seasons.
It’s been over a decade since the Packers went two seasons in a row without qualifying for the playoffs and Rodgers would like to keep it that way. He had nothing to do with last season’s letdown after going on the shelf, and we’re watching this Green Bay team have one of its worst scoring seasons with Rodgers at the helm. We’re not counting last year since AR went down early in the season and Green Bay finished 21st in points per game.
Rodgers hasn’t been the problem. In fact his numbers have been very good with 19 touchdowns and just one interception in 385 attempts. His completion percentage is a bit lower at 61.8, but everything else is in line with what he’s done over his career. He had another exceptional game last week in Seattle throwing for 332 yards and two scores, but he Pack couldn’t run the football and that’s been a bugaboo all season.
Even when opponents stop the run they must contend with Rodgers, and he’s been able to pick defenses apart. He’s averaging over 307 passing yards per game and threw for 281 yards and a score when the teams met earlier this season. Over 20 career starts against the Vikings, Rodgers had completed nearly 69 percent of his passes with 40 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He is the bread and butter on offense and Rodgers will come out throwing so play him on the live betting lines at BookMaker.eu.
Kirk Cousins was signed to a mega-bucks contract to get the Vikings to the Super Bowl, not to play .500 ball and contend for a division title. To say the pressure is mounting on him would be an understatement. Cousins wilted under the pressure of the Bears defense last Sunday night, and he’s been particularly vulnerable in prime time games.
Chicago’s relentless defense posed huge problems for the Vikings, particularly stopping the run. That’s an area the Packers will focus on after Minnesota managed just 22 yards on 14 carries. It appeared as though Dalvin Cook had a breakthrough against the Lions when he rushed for 89 yards on 10 attempts, but 70 of those yards came on one run. Take that away and Cook averaged just 2.1 yards per carry. For the season the Vikings have the 31st ranked run game with less than 85 yards per outing.
The Vikings couldn’t run the ball in the first meeting, gaining only 68 yards, but Cousins made up for it by throwing for 425 yards and four scores. Expect more of the same on Sunday night. Cousins will have to throw and he has both Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs back in the lineup, which will help his numbers. Search for a prop bet at BookMaker.eu and play the over on Cousins’ passing yards.

Cousins has proven he’s a not-ready-for-prime-time player by posting a 4-12 career record, including a 0-3 mark this year, in such games. The numbers have been good, however. He had 422 yards and three TDs against the Rams, threw for 359 yards against New Orleans and had a pair of scoring passes in Chicago. But the bottom line is winning, and Cousins hasn’t been able to do that. Fade the Vikings on the live betting line at BookMaker.eu and pump up Rodgers, because he will outshine his Vikings counterpart.
