The Dallas Cowboys lost a close one to the New England Patriots last time out and owner Jerry Jones wasn’t happy, but the Cowboys have to put that behind them in a hurry. The Cowboys will turn around and play four days later when they host the Buffalo Bills in a Thanksgiving showdown. The Bills have two more wins than Dallas this season and is in great shape to grab a wild card berth in the AFC, but there is plenty of doubt about the validity of this team’s staying power in the playoffs. Buffalo could make a serious statement with a road victory over the Cowboys in Week 13.
This NFL regular season game between the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys will be held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 28th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on CBS.

Odds Analysis
The Cowboys have been listed as the 7-point favorites to take care of business at home against the Bills. Dallas may only be 6-5 on the year but it has the superior personnel. The Cowboys are the -325 favorite on the moneyline while the Bills come in as the +263 underdog.
The scoring total is listed at 44.5 points as the oddsmakers expect this one to be a pretty low-scoring affair.
Injury Report
Leighton Vander Esch -- The Cowboys have one of the best linebacker groups in the NFL when everyone is healthy, but Vander Esch is dealing with a neck injury that is expected to keep him out for a significant length of time. He is a Pro Bowl-level talent so Dallas will have a tough time replacing him, but Sean Lee and Jaylon Smith are still very good players.
Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen has a propensity for inaccuracy and could put the ball in danger, and the linebackers would love to secure a pick or two. Vander Esch hasn’t technically been ruled out yet but it seems very unlikely he will be available for this one.
Key Stat
15.7 -- That’s the number of points the Bills are giving up per game this season, which is one of the best marks in the league. That will be tested in this one as Dallas boasts an MVP candidate at quarterback in Dak Prescott as well as star running back Ezekiel Elliott and playmaking wide receiver Amari Cooper.
The Bills have some stars on defense, led by cornerback Tre’Davious White, and they have been able to shut down many opponents this season. However, the schedule has been extremely light as Buffalo has been able to beat up on the Dolphins twice, the Jets, the Redskins and others.
If Buffalo can slow down the high-powered Cowboys, they will turn some heads.
NFL Pick
The Bills have one of the best records in the NFL but they still have a lot to prove. They could really make a statement with a win here but it seems unlikely to happen. Prescott is the far superior quarterback and the strong Buffalo defense will have its hands full keeping him in check.
The Cowboys are only ahead of the Eagles by a game in the NFC East but definitely have the better roster. They can stay ahead with a victory over Buffalo. The Bills would still be on track to grab a wild card berth in the AFC with a loss, but a win would really strengthen their hold on the No. 5 spot in the conference.
The Bills will need to play well in order to stay close as they are a big underdog in this Thanksgiving Day showdown.
NFL Pick: Dallas Cowboys 24, Buffalo Bills 13
