COVID-19 may have shut down almost all major sports indefinitely but the one thing it has not yet touched is NFL futures for 2020 . It should come as no surprise that the defending AFC and Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs opened as the favorite with the NFL Odds to repeat as winners of the Lamar Hunt Trophy for 2020. Just as predictable is the fact that the Baltimore Ravens, who were the number one seed in the AFC for 2019, are the second choice for 2020. From there it gets quite interesting with both potential bargains and overlays.
We’ll have NFL Odds at Bookmaker.eu available for every game of the 2020 NFL season .

2020 AFC Championship Odds Analysis
As is almost always the case futures betting is not based as much on the future as on the past. That is why the Chiefs and Ravens are the favorites with the NFL Odds to win the AFC. Bargain hunters may find some intriguing alternatives with real chances to win.
VIDEO
Kansas City Chiefs
What could be the ultimate irony for 2020 is that the Chiefs may be a better team and yet not win the AFC or Super Bowl. Kansas City Chiefs has the biggest asset in football with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, one of the few true impact players in the game. Ultimately, Mahomes proved to be the difference in 2019 and could well be again.
Baltimore Ravens
On one hand the Ravens were the most dominant regular season team in the AFC for 2019. And quarterback Lamar Jackson seemed to be on the cusp of recreating the position. But the Tennessee Titans cracked the code in stunning fashion when it was playoff time. Which leads to the question of which Baltimore team and Jackson we will get for 2020.
New England Patriots
Amazing that even with Tom Brady now gone the Patriots are still a top tier AFC favorite. The reason of course is the GOAT of coaches, Bill Belichick. The Hoodie went 11-5 the last time he was without Brady.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Bargain hunters may flock to the Steelers , who are still considered a team capable of winning the AFC as long as QB Big Ben Roethlisberger returns to heath and the lineup. The Steel Curtain defense ranked fifth in the NFL last year and simply needs an adequate offense to compliment it.
Buffalo Bills
Buffalo may have been a surprise playoff team in 2019 but they are a substantive threat for 2020. The Bills are well coached, fundamentally sound, and had one of the most impressive free agent signing periods of any team in the NFL.
Indianapolis Colts
While everyone is swooning over Brady going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the Colts may have gotten the better deal with Philip Rivers taking over as quarterback. Rivers had comparable numbers to Brady last year and has a better supporting cast at Indy.
Tennessee Titans
Upstart Tennessee made the AFC Championship Game last year but won’t catch anyone napping for 2020. Is Ryan Tannehill now fully “fixed” or was it a fluke?
The Rest
Cleveland has done ZERO to earn any faith in all in regards to a turnaround under owner Jim Haslam. Houston coach and general manager Bill O’Brien is a wannabe dime store Belichick. The team that could surprise is the Raiders, now in their first season in Las Vegas. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is coming off his best season and taking to coach Jon Gruden.
NFL Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
